Engram, on his way back on this front,... [smiley=injury.gif] but not on this... [smiley=deal.gif] From "The REAL Feed":

Seahawks' Engram returns, still upset about deal (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3621076&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlines)
ESPN: NFL (01.10.2008 22:25)
He's been waiting for eight weeks on the injured list. But Bobby Engram is still unhappy over the Seahawks refusing to re-negotiate his contract that is in its final year.

Hawks to get a couple MUCH-needed ball-catchers back... according to "The REAL Feed":

Deion Branch will start for the Seahawks on Sunday against the New York Giants, eight months after the veteran receiver had reconstructive knee surgery.

I'm sorry...  I just got to say it...  Branch is a scrub who will never live up to the fantasy hype!  It's time to totally write this guy off. [smiley=howtoput.gif] From "The REAL Feed":

Branch out indefinitely with heel bruise; Hasselbeck expected to go (http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80b6e147&template=with-video&confirm=true)
NFL.com (06.10.2008 20:49)
Seahawks wide receiver Deion Branch has a bruised heel and will be out indefinitely. Quarterback MattHasselbeck apparently will be fine.

Branch needs to be beat with a branch... [smiley=takinyours.gif]

Currently topping "The REAL Feed",... Hasselbeck down (during all practices this week), but not OUT (of the game this Sunday)... according to "The REAL Feed":

Seahawks expect Hasselbeck to play, despite missed practices (http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80b8222d&template=with-video&confirm=true)

Status quo for Seahawks quarterback MattHasselbeck. Still no practice. Still on for Sunday's game againstGreen Bay.

Now they're saying Frye is getting the majority of the snaps in practice and that Hasselbeck's playing this weekend is in serious doubt.  From "The REAL Feed":

Hasselbeck likely out for Seattle (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/football/nfl/wires/10/10/2020.ap.fbn.seahawks.hasselbeck.0195/index.html)
SI.com: NFL (10.10.2008 16:49)

With Hasselbeck questionable, Frye takes bulk of reps (http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80b8583a&template=with-video&confirm=true)
NFL.com (10.10.2008 17:34)
Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck has not been cleared to play against Green Bay, meaning the Seahawks will likely start Charlie Frye against the Packers.

Hasselbeck's knee woes may be more serious than originally thought.  At least, he is going in for more tests...  Currently atop "The REAL Feed":

It'll probably be Wallace next Sunday.

Wallace could be under center this week... according to "The REAL Feed":

Wallace back at practice, could start for Seahawks (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3645845&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlines)
ESPN: NFL (15.10.2008 21:32)
Seneca Wallace will split time this week with third-stringer Charlie Frye, and if Wallace's calf can hold up through three days of practice he will start for the Seahawks (1-4) Sunday night at Tampa Bay (4-2).

Hasselbeck looking to return.  Topping "The REAL Feed":

Hasselbeck cleared to practice, expected to return next week (http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80c3f599&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true)
NFL.com (05.11.2008 20:28)
The Seahawks expect quarterback Matt Hasselbeck to return against first-place Arizona on Nov. 16. He will miss his fifth consecutive game on Sunday at Miami while he slowly gets back into playing shape this week.

I think Hass is being allowed to come back only because they are in such a bad division that the traditionally hapless [smiley=chicken.gif]'s are leading and they think they can still make a run.  But, fantasy footballers be warned!  If and when they are really out of it, I would expect Hass to be put to pasture for the remainder of the season.

Did this guy read this post today, or what??? [smiley=gimmeabreak.gif] That's the fantasy football version of Murphy's Law:  the minute you say it, the opposite will happen. [smiley=shootmyself.gif]
