Portis was able to practice on Friday and is going to start.  The news out of DC all week was to play it safe with Portis for practice but have him play on Sunday.

Local ABCnews here just covered the story.  I totally missed this in the news because of the bye week.   [smiley=annoyed.gif]   Portis is 50/50 for the week.  

They showed a clip of Jim Zorn announcing that if Portis can NOT go, it will probably be multiple players filling the role.  Rock Cartwright and Shaun Alexander being the main candidates.
