Title: Trade question Post by The Juror on Oct 16th, 2008, 5:17pm I am in a non keeper league where I am tied for 1st place with a 4-2 record, but I have not had any real consistent play from my QB. I am muling a trade where I am being offered Reggie Bush and Jay Cutler for Westbrook, T. Jones and Derek Andersen. My backs are, Westbrook, Jacobs, T. Jones, Larry Johnson, Fred Taylor, Derrick Ward, and Tim Hightower. My QB's are Andersen and Delhomme. Do I stay put waiting for Westbrook to get healthy and take my chances with my QB's and count my blessings or make the move. Thanks. Keith |

Title: Re: Trade question Post by DirkDiggler on Oct 16th, 2008, 7:49pm I would never take that deal. Westbrook is the most lethal fantasy weapon when healthy. The other guys is selling Cutler high. No way he keeps up the pace he had in the beginning of the year. |

Title: Re: Trade question Post by StegRock on Oct 17th, 2008, 12:00am That's a BIG "IF", though, regarding Westbrook. And, actually, I would (be trying to) sell Anderson high (after last week). Cutler may not keep up the pace he set early on, but I would bet dimes to dollars that he is WAY more consistent at the proverbial end of the day than (either) Anderson (or Delhomme). I don't know how many running backs you start week in and week out, but it seems to me that you can take the hit there, at least to the degree that it's worth the upgrade you'd be getting at QB. I would, however, try to get a little sweetener back or try to downgrade from Jones to Taylor or Hightower. |
