I don't ultimately disagree with the guest comments that point the finger of blame toward media-created hype.  That having been said, why couldn't Owens have headed the media circus off at the pass and told someone on the Bills what was up and that he wouldn't be around?  Answer,... eh-hem,... he didn't want to.  And, the media wags the dog of the public yet again... :-X
