Title: My League
Post by Razzak on Dec 3rd, 2002, 5:22pm
I invite you all to check out my league.
http://football2119.fantasy.sportsline.com/mp/home?league=mosh

8 teams, start 3QB, 5WR, 5RB, 2TE, K, 2D
Schedule: 9 vs. div, 4 vs. other division
Week 14: Playoffs Home field = +15 points
Week 15+16: Superbowl/toiletbowl two weeks combined, no home field.

TD = 6pts
10 rush/rec = 1pt
100 rush/rec = +5pts
2pt bonus for long TD's
25 pass = 1pt
300 pass = +5
-2 fumble/int

First division:
All four teams are 6-7 and had to go to points tiebreaker to see which two made the playoffs, etc.

Second divison:
Came down to this week.. i've got homefield but if you look at my roster I'm hurting :(

So check it out and tell me what you think.  The team that won Division 1 started the season 2-7 and won four in a row and the points tiebreaker (with some luck) to make the playoffs.

Thought I was in a nail bitter tied for 1st at 6-6 in the division(started at 2-4).  Thats enough to make you want to  [smiley=alcoholic.gif] [smiley=bonghit.gif]

Quite a system you've got there.  I hadn't seen a homefield point advantage before.  Interesting concept.

I have a more standard system.  Top 3 division winners plus one wildcard (best record of remaining) make playoffs.  Week one 1 v 4 and 2 v 3.  Looks like I have #1 locked up unless I lose and score almost nothing this coming weekend.

The homefield advantage only applies in the playoffs (not regular season or superbowl).  We wanted to reward doing well in the regular season because it'd be kinda a bummer if you go 13-0 and someone else makes it at 6-7 and gets lucky one week :)  But the superbowl is interdivisional, since the schedule emphasizes divisional play, there's no advantage.

That makes a lot of sense.  It would help in my league too.  I'm number one in my league, but I have some tough matchups the first week of my playoffs, so it's not inconceivable that I could lose in the first round.

Hey guys, I took a look at your sites and I have a suggestion.[smiley=gotanidea.gif] Take advantage of the "Add CommBox" and "Quicklink" features. You can arrange the different CommBoxes in any configuration you choose, making your home page more informative and a lot cooler to look at.[smiley=toocool.gif] Using the Quicklink feature makes access to regularly viewed pages quick and easy.[smiley=soapbox.gif] I know I sound like a commercial, but once you get it setup, you'll see what I'm talking about.[smiley=yes.gif] Also, I would recommend increasing your screen width. Under "Options", select "Display Options" and make it as wide as your monitor will allow. This will keep things from overlapping and making your home page look like crap.;) It doesn't take long to do and I think it makes a big difference. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I've got my CommBox, Quicklink, and Screen Width settings already adjusted.

I think that you are looking at a generic, guest-view page.  The addresses posted above do not give you personal access to our settings (fortunately for us).

Thanks for the tip though.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I wish my commish in the two off-line leagues I'm in had a seperate site for the league info. Too much personal info about he and his family for me to comfortably link his page. The two online leagues I'm in are both private yahoo leagues, and that appears to rule out "guest" viewing. Wish I could play along. Thanks to those of you who have.

I'm in the superbowl!  My opponent's match is not yet decided, although the guy who battled back from 0-6 and then 2-7 to win his division at 6-7 has a lead.

Actually, he's trailing by 4, but with the 15 point homefield bonus he has an 11 point lead. He has no players left and his opponent has Mare.

Scoring for kickers:
-1 missed fg/pat
1 pt per PAT
1 pt fg 19
2 pt fg 20-30
3 pt fg 30-40
4 pt fg 40-50
5 pt fg 50-60
8 pt fg 60+

Whoever wins I'll play in the two-week superbowl :D

Same as a one week, except you add the two weeks together.
