Title: ***NFL Draft Player Preview: Lee Suggs*** Post by BarnabyWilde on Jan 16th, 2003, 11:55pm Lee Suggs Runningback Virginia Tech 6-0 210 pounds Lee Suggs is one of my favorite players in the draft this year. Nevermind that he played for Virginia Tech, my favorite college football team. He is the definition of a team player, someone with a good character and solid work ethic. Coming off ACL surgery in 2001 after a fantastic 2000 season, Suggs had a nice senior campaign, sharing time with sophomore Kevin Jones. He didn't loose any of his speed or lateral movement due to the injury, and is a good all around back who can run, block, and catch passes out of the backfield. I see Suggs going late first/early second much like Larry Johnson. I see teams like Tampa Bay and New England in the first round or Detroit, Houston or maybe even Indianapolis looking at Suggs. He will be a solid NFL back (trust me!!!!) |

Title: Re: ***NFL Draft Player Preview: Lee Suggs*** Post by BarnabyWilde on Feb 5th, 2003, 2:52pm I'd love to see him slip into round two and have the Texans grab him. That way he'd play more this season. |

Title: Re: ***NFL Draft Player Preview: Lee Suggs*** Post by Daunte Williams on Feb 15th, 2003, 11:15pm This kid is going to be a great NFL back. He showed no ill effects from his ACL last year. He has better speed than I had thought & is a bull between the tackles. :o |
