Title: ***NFL Draft Player Preview: Andre Johnson*** Post by BarnabyWilde on Jan 20th, 2003, 5:32pm Andre Johnson Wide Receiver Miami 6-2, 220 pounds Another wide receiver coming out after his junior year. Ken Dorsey's favorte target this year, he combines size, strength, and speed, running a 40 under 4.45. He is a very physical player who welcomes contact, and is probably the best receiver in the draft in fighting off jamming attempts at the line of scrimmage. Has all the tools to play at the next level, just needs to be more consistent. Prognosis on draft day: Will be the second receiver taken behind Rogers, will be a top 15-20 pick. May go to the Ravens, Redskins, or Jags, although I'd love to see him in a Giants uniform....oh well, he'll be long gone by the time they pick! |

Title: Re: ***NFL Draft Player Preview: Andre Johnson*** Post by Jetdoc on Jan 21st, 2003, 4:06pm I don't think Johnson has anywhere near the skills that Rogers has, but I think that he can be a productive wideout for a struggling team. I don't think he has the hands to be a decent #1 WR in the near future, and really doesn't have blazing speed to be an honest deep threat. Just my opinion, of course... |

Title: Re: ***NFL Draft Player Preview: Andre Johnson*** Post by BarnabyWilde on Feb 9th, 2003, 12:31am I see Johnson going to Baltimore to pair up with Travis taylor. With Heap, that's three nice options for whoever is their QB next season...four if you include Lewis! ;D |
