Title: ***NFL Draft Player Preview: Kyle Boller***
Post by BarnabyWilde on Feb 9th, 2003, 12:16am
Kyle Boller
Quarterback
California
6-4, 215 pounds

Kyle Boller came to Cal with alot of hype surrounding him. He started almost his entire collegiate career. He shows excellent velocity and has great field presence. He is a natural leader and has great control over situations that occur during games. He has been streaky at times and does try to force balls into coverage as well. He appears to just be getting it all together and could be a great sleeper pick of this years quarterback crop.

Draft prognosis: Boller will hear his name called on day one, but when? After guys like Palmer, Leftwich, Ragone and Grossman for sure. I would take him ahead of Simms and Dorsey. If Arizona or Cincinnati were to grab him in the third, the would have a steal on their hands...this kids will be an NFL starter someday, and a good one too.
