Quaterback
Florida
6-1, 225 pounds

Grossman, in my opinion, should have stayed in school for his senior year. After a great sophomore season, he saw his coach Steve Spurrier depart for the NFL, and he struggled his junior campaign. He has a very accurate arm, but his deep ball does tend to float on his receivers to due his lack of arm strength.

Draft Prognosis: May see him reunited with Spurrier in Washington via their second round selection.

Hmm, I dunno about his lack of arm strength. On the "College Skills" competition, one of the competitions was who could throw the ball the longest, though, the ball must land on the landing pad. He out threw Dorsey, Brad Banks, and I forget who else, his distance you ask? Nothing more then 64 yards, 61 yards his 2nd attempt.

Gotta be pretty accurate too...

WOW! That was some "Inside the Huddle" tonight on ESPN SportsCenter. Steve DeBerg was shown tutoring and working out with Grossman. The guy looked good. Granted, they probably edited out his bad throws, but on the ones they showed, he showed outstanding accuracy, hitting the targets dead-on, and pretty darn good velocity for a guy whose weak point supposedly is arm strength. Moreover, the guy had a great attitude. He seemed to be very in tune with both his strengths and weaknesses. He was very willing to learn new techniques in the areas where he needs to improve, but also showed confidence in other areas, which will allow him to expedite the learning process by not re-hashing the things he already does well. In any event, if you can catch a repeat of tonight's SportsCenter, I would highly advise catching this "Inside the Huddle" segment. [smiley=yes.gif]
