Title: First Ever Gridiron NFL Mock Draft! Post by BarnabyWilde on Mar 2nd, 2003, 7:44pm Well, my fellow Gridironers, it is time. Time for us to make our statement regarding the NFL Draft. Here is how we will go about conducting our FIRST EVER NFL Mock Draft; I will make the first pick. Someone follows. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GO TWICE IN A ROW. It would be preferable if you waited for, perhaps, at least two guys to go before going again. Now, if YOU POST YOUR PICK AT THE SAME TIME AS SOMEONE ELSE, THE SECOND GUY SHOULD "REMOVE" HIS POST!!! That is the gentlemanly thing to do. FINALLY, JUST TRY TO FOLLOW THE SIMPLE FORMAT I USE. IT WILL MAKE IT A LOT EASIER ON US ALL IF WE MAINTAIN A STANDARD FORMAT. At any rate, I think this will help the furtherance of making "Huddles" become our trademark. Moreover, this will provide us with another fun opportunity to get to know one another better and maybe bring a few more people in the fold in the process, so, calling all Gridironers, feel free to spread the word wherever possible. ;) With that being said, let's make it a little simpler, and do this without trades. I know during April's draft teams will wheel and deal picks, but for the sake of simplicity, let's just go in the draft order as it is now: 1. Cincinnati 2. Detriot 3. Houston 4. Chicago 5. Dallas 6. Arizona 7. Minnesota 8. Jacksonville 9. Carolina 10. Baltimore 11. Seattle 12. St. Louis 13. Washington 14. New England (from Buffalo) 15. San Diego 16. Kansas City 17. New Orleans 18. New Orleans (from Miami) 19. New England 20. Denver 21. Cleveland 22. New York Jets 23. Atlanta 24. Indianapolis 25. New York Giants 26. San Francisco 27. Pittsburgh 28. Tennessee 29. Green Bay 30. Philadelphia 31. Oakland 32. Oakland (from Tampa Bay) Please put commentary here to keep this thread clean... http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=56;action=display;num=1046703527 LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!!!!! |

Title: Re: First Ever Gridiron NFL Mock Draft! Post by StegRock on Mar 10th, 2003, 5:55pm [smiley=ontheclock.gif] Any thoughts? Anybody gonna' make a pick here? Should we abandon this one and start another, perhaps at the beginning of next week? I, for one, kind of liked the idea of takin' this one deep. Any chance of that happening? I am going to go ahead and update the "commentary" thread, at any rate! |

Title: Re: First Ever Gridiron NFL Mock Draft! Post by Philly on Mar 10th, 2003, 7:37pm I think maybe it IS time to end this one. 9 of the last 11 picks have been made by either me or BW. I think we should wait a couple weeks and have another one, or each of us submit our own mock draft and we can compile the results to come up with a composite "Gridiron" mock draft. |
