I would like to get a 12 team mock draft with individual defensive players going. Scoring would be as follows:

6 pts for all rushing/receiving tds
4 pts for all passing tds
4 bonus pts for a td over 50 yds
3 pts for all fgs
5 pts for a fg over 40 yds
1 pt bonus for every 10 yrd rushing/receiving or every 25 yds passing
3 pts per tackle
1 pt per assist
10 pts per sack
5 for a 1/2 sack
5 for a fumble recovery
15 for an interception

Starting lineup is:
1 QB
2 RB
3 WR/TE
1 K
2 DL
2 LB
2 DB/S

Count me in... I've played in leagues with IDPs before - adds an interesting twist to the game. (Though I prefer team D to IDP.)

Last year was my first using IDPs. I really wouldn't be ready to mock until later, but willing to fill in a slot now for shits and giggles.

Jetdoc makes 9. I'd like 12, but will settle for 10. One more, then we can get started. I'd like to start it up mid June, that way we know the June 1 cuts and roster moves.

Let's shoot for June 14th as a start date.

BW, I would suggest starting this a.s.a.p. unless you think doing it concurrent with the CBFL "mock" draft is not going to be a problem. I am just thinking that that might be a bit much for people to chew all at once since, I am sure, some of the dudes (besides Jetdoc [smiley=tonguin.gif] ;) ) will be doing the CBFL one as well. On the other hand, maybe since they are here anyway doing one, doing two won't be that big of a deal. [smiley=whatever.gif] What do you guys think? [smiley=thinking.gif]

I think I want to wait until June 14th. I'd like for rosters to settle after the cuts. The earliest I'd start it is the 7th, but would like to avoid that if possible. I don't have a problem doing both this mock and the CBFL at the same time.

You know I'm in............Having IDP's is the only way to play FF. It shows what a person really knows about football and drafting............Makes timing in the draft even more important because a Great defensive player makes just as many points(or more) as a good RB or WR. With all the humility that I can muster(not much) lol....jk.....I always have one of the better Defensive line-ups in our league and last year my IDP's probably won me the championship!

#1... are we just drafting 13 players... one for each position?

#2... two of the guys who signed up for this mock almost never post here... are they still interested?

Steg, being an impartial bystander, can you set the draft order for me? Put the 9 names in a hat and pick them out and email me the order if that is alright with you.

OK, i have a very serious question here. Who's stats are we using for this league? Will it be Yahoo, AOL, CBSsportsline, USAToday, NFL official site, Boston Globe, Washington Times/Post, LA Times? Which one? Becasue on the Yahoo Zach Thomas had the most tackles year. Also on an NFL teams' "official site" one of the linebackers that isn't even a top-ten on anybody's site/cheatsheets had 199 tackles last yr.
I just would like to know which site we plan to use. It seems that the offensive players are easy:everyone has a player at 97yds, 1 rushing TD, but for DEF players there seems to be a WIDE range of stats. Whos stats will we use? Pity i discovered this now. Please clarify. Thx.
