Title: ***NFL Player Preview: Willis McGahee***
Post by BarnabyWilde on Apr 2nd, 2003, 4:24pm
Willis McGahee
Running Back
Miami
6-0
225 pounds

Willis would be a sure fire top five pick if not for the injury he sustained in the whatever Bowl (I can't keep them all straight anymore, I think it was the Rose).

McGahee has a great combination of spees, size and acceleration. He as all the tools to be a franchise back, as long as he recovers from the knee injury. He says he will be ready to play this season after undergoing MRI surgery. That remains to be seen.

Draft Prognosis: Someone will take a chance on Willis, but how soon remains to be seen. I see him going late second, early third round.  Maybe Oakland or Detroit...
