Title: ***NFL Draft: Player Preview - Cecil Sapp***

Cecil Sapp
RB
Colorado St.
6-1, 225

Cecil Sapp is a load.  He runs over people and is a monster at the goal line.  Decent speed for his size.  Sapp is a workhorse RB who will wear down defenders as the game goes on.  He had a great 2002 season coming off an injury in 2001.  The knock on Sapp is that he is impatient and does not allow blocking schemes to develop.

Draft prognosis: Sapp should be a first day selection, most likely in the 3rd round.  Would be a good fit for the Giants (if they allow Dayne to leave) to revitalize the Thunder and Lightning backfield.

Or, how about Pittsburgh with Bettis on the way out and Zereoue :-/ (read, eh!) last year and ultimately not a prototypical Steelers back?

Yep... he would work well in a Steelers uni.   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
