Title: Re: The Mosh League Fantasy Draft Post by FourTwoOh on Aug 25th, 2003, 8:53am I like Mini Vick to take it all. RB are set and more. Then with that recieving corp, wow. I've got Chad Johnson & KRob pushing for a top 5 finish. Rice, Chambers Smith{later}and DJax. That just too much fire power for any of the other teams to overcome. Hope that's you. Gardner Rules is the running if Price can be very productive. If Vick comes back earlier vs later, he'll give Mini Vick a run for the money. |

Title: Re: The Mosh League Fantasy Draft Post by StegRock on Aug 25th, 2003, 3:45pm Well, in short, this is definitely a league of "haves" and "have nots" and Mini Vick is surely the richest of the bourgeois, and that's good and all, but the "quality", or dearth thereof, of the draft as a whole is the more daunting/noticeable/notable aspect to this. The proletariat definitely got "worked" in this league's draft. In any case, good luck ::) to the owner of Mini Vick... as if he needs it. |

Title: Re: The Mosh League Fantasy Draft Post by DirkDiggler on Aug 31st, 2003, 10:31pm hMMM... I see 4 teams competing for the league championship. I don't see Mini Vick running away with it like everyone else. I list the teams in this order: 1. Faulked for the very first time 2. Gardner Rules 3. Mini Vick 4. Yellow Bolts 5. Gay Cowboys. I would say the rest of the teams are dog poo. So which team is your Razzak? |

Title: Re: The Mosh League Fantasy Draft Post by Razzak on Aug 31st, 2003, 10:39pm I'm Mini Vick, and I used the same basic strategy I used before. I went RB in the first four rounds, obviously, grabbing Williams, then Taylor & Dillon, and was pleasantly surprised to have Jamal Lewis fall to me in round 4. In previous years, I had gone WR after RB, but with Trent Green (a stud IMO because we get a bonus at 300 yards) still on the board I grabbed him. I took Ramsey next which I felt was too early, but I knew he wouldn't fall to round 7 or 8. Grabbing Brad Johnson to round out my QB's i then went to work on WR's. Mine aren't stellar, but I was able to grab guys I liked (Kevin Johnson, Chad Johnson, Chris Chambers) late. Coming back with Fargas gave me my fifth RB. I think I got good value in Kitna/Johnson as they just might produce enough for me to start'em this year. Hopefully Chad does as well as he did last year. Dillon also on my roster makes me a Bungles fan. The name... Mini Vick, comes from my hatred of Marcus Vick in NCAA 2004 >:(. I hate the hail mary & scramble "strategy". |

I hate the hail mary & scramble "strategy". I know the feeling. I don't even play NCAA2004 on-line any more for that exact reason. I just play madden on-line now! I love PS2 |

Nah, he's unlucky. His guys always go down for the season. I especially liked how his first and second rounders (Edge and Jamal) both busted ACL's in the same year. Gardner Rules was really scaring me at the beginning of the year, but the most recent news with Stewart gone he's a little weaker. Hopefully Peterson doesn't win out that job. |

Faulked for the First Time: He's now 0-2 and he is the Faulk owner. Bahahaha. That's what he gets for laughing at my Dillon + Chambers for faulk offer :) Mini Vick: is 3-0 and has lead in points (if barely) all three weeks. Nick, the team I picked to place last, is now 3-0. Gardner Rules and Faulked for the first Time: Currently in an 0-2 vs. 0-2 dogfight to avoid 0-3. |
