Title: REAL SPORTS fantasy football segment
Post by DB on Oct 1st, 2003, 5:44pm
Did anyone catch that on HBO this week.  Frank DeFord did a story about the growing fantasy football craze.  His story focused on this dude called the "Wizard" (who may be Stegeman) that is this guy who gets all dressed up in a Wizard hat as if he were a Trekkie.  The gist of the story was that fantasy footballers are freaks, losers who are wanna-be football players.  They also interviewed a guy from Footballguys, who says he works 18 hours per day.

They said that it is a growing craze with about 12 million players and that people spend too much time at work looking stuff up.

Gotta get back to work!!!

I've got an article on this very topic in the works to be published tomorrow or Friday.  So, I guess, to turn a negative into a positive, BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR IT!

Let me preface one thing, though,... I am NOT the FUCKING Wizard! [smiley=wizard.gif] What a tool!  For further Steggie commentary on this "issue", make sure to read my next article,... COMING SOON!

"fantasy footballers are freaks, losers who are wanna-be football players"
