Title: REAL SPORTS fantasy football segment Post by DB on Oct 1st, 2003, 5:44pm Did anyone catch that on HBO this week. Frank DeFord did a story about the growing fantasy football craze. His story focused on this dude called the "Wizard" (who may be Stegeman) that is this guy who gets all dressed up in a Wizard hat as if he were a Trekkie. The gist of the story was that fantasy footballers are freaks, losers who are wanna-be football players. They also interviewed a guy from Footballguys, who says he works 18 hours per day. They said that it is a growing craze with about 12 million players and that people spend too much time at work looking stuff up. Gotta get back to work!!! |
