Title: Weird player stats
Post by steelkings on Nov 29th, 2003, 10:31pm
Just for consideration.
Jon Kitna is tied for third in TD passes with 19. Santana Moss is the leading TD Reciever with 10 TD's. Shannon Sharpe is 7th with 7 TD's. Clinton Portis with only 5 TD's is not in the top 15 Td scorers, Yet he leads all rushers with a 5.3 yrd per carry average. Jeff Garcia has more rushing TD's (4) than Duce Staley. Ricky Williams has 35 more carries than anyone else, but is 8th in total yrds rushing. Paul Edinger is tied for 5th in field Goals made(21). Matt Bryant is last in field goals made with 9. Arizona and Detriot are tied for first with 5 defensive TD's. Arizona wins the tie breaker because they have a saftey to go with thier TD's. Yet Arizona is dead last in turnover differential.(-14)

Sorry to ramble on. This seemed interesting. I could continue but..........

Stats don't matter in the NFL, it's the wins and losses, as those numbers seem to indicate.  Unfortunately (or fortunately), they do matter in fantasy football and that's what makes it so hard to succeed and win year after year.

Yeah , I know what you mean. I had Eddie George going against the team that gave up the second most rushing td's in the league. I needed 1 score. NOT!
