Title: Looking for people to work on Fantasy Site
Post by #1 Steelers Fan on Jan 20th, 2004, 10:41am
Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in working with myself and a few others in the developent of a fantasy football source web site.

Basicly we are trying to put together a decent source of free fantasy info.

If interested please email me bhotz76@pfl-football.com and I will get back to you will all of the details.

Thanks

He,he,he,ha,ha,ha ;D  ;D, [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]
Purhaps its all in the interpitation of the word decent. Lets take a look.[smiley=crystalball.gif]
1. If he is using it in the "crappy, [smiley=horse.gif] Sloppy, not good,as it relates to all other fantasy sites sense. I think you should be offended Steve.
2. If its used in the Moral  Majority, holyier [smiley=angel.gif] than tho, what (or who)did you do behind open doors at the frat  [smiley=beatnik.gif]house sense, you might have to let it go.
P.S Im still hoping for soft instramental  [smiley=violin.gif]sounds of the golden oldies when you return.

[smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]  ;D [smiley=laugh.gif][smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif].Purhaps it will have its own Girdiron store.  [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]  :D ;D [smiley=laugh.gif][smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]It will have links to other sites as well as sourses to news outlets from around the NFL. [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]He will have well thought out articles written by himself and other posters he trusts. [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]Purhaps games for when things get slow. [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]  [smiley=laugh.gif][smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]Maybe a chat line as well. [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]
Does anyone know anybody to help him get started? [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]  ::) [smiley=laugh.gif][smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]

I think most of the people you find here are interested in helping to keep this "source of free fantasy info" going and improving, so you may find very few takers for your request.

I think you need to clarify what it is that you are interested in doing.  If it is a totally different site, offering things not available here (and not in the plans to be available here), then Steg might be willing to help promote your site as a "partner" site (and you may find people here with expertise in that area to help out).  If you are trying to do the same things that are going on here (i.e., create a competing site to try to take away the members here), then he'll probably just wish you luck.

I should have been a little more clear about what I was talking about. I didn't mean to offend anyone with the post, especially Steve.

This site is great, it's a forum and you can get a wide variety of things here.

Sorry for bringing it up.

It all depends on what his site is going to be.  He did say never mind, he did not want to ruffle any feathers.

So many FF sites out there offering so many different things.

Yea, I hear ya, DD...  BUT, thanks for "getting my back", so to speak, (even if it was in a knee-jerk fashion) anyway, DF! [smiley=bow.gif] The implication of some of the wording of #1 SF's initial "message" as well as the enigmatic usage of the thumbs down message icon do give this thread an "awkward feel", to say the least.  Of course, also, the mere posting of such a thread is in questionable (albeit acceptable by my standards) taste.
