Title: Re: league openings? Post by StegRock on Mar 3rd, 2004, 9:54am kc, first off, as to what you said about the site and updates, you're welcome. Moreover, though, THANK YOU so much for the kind and supportive words. They mean A LOT :'( and help to keep me pressing forth. 8-) As for league openings, yes, it is (as Bob Uecker might say) just a bit early. What I would recommend is just hanging out here as often as reasonably possible and bringing up the topic now and then because 1) as guys get to know each other better and trust one another (as dedicated, and not fair-weather, fantasy footballers), leagues beget themselves, and, bottom line, 2) guys who come and go usually get lost in the shuffle (ask member "merillon" who blew his chance at being in the GBRFL2). Title: Re: league openings? Post by StegRock on Mar 3rd, 2004, 10:34am By the way, kc, a GREAT way to get to know your fellow Gridironers is to use "the Gridiron Chatroom". In case you are not aware, you can log-in to the chatroom by scrolling to the bottom of the index page (http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi) and clicking "Join Chat". It's not very busy these days, but, as with everything, it will heat up as we get closer to the season. Of course, you can always invite dudes that you see hangin' around in for a chat by sending them a "'Gridiron' private message". Anyway, just a heads up, brother! [smiley=bow.gif] |
