There will be some "evidence", though, soon. In any event, however, do you think Steg here, knowing how I am, would put out a total piece of garbage? $20 may be a bit overpriced, admittedly and actually, but the point isn't that I want to go into the t-shirt business; the point is, as is stated on the t-shirt page, to help this place stay up and running... and growing, preferably. Okay, FIRST :P order of business I had to come back to... I made the credit card order form more thorough and professional. In the first version of the form, if you noticed, I had forgotten to ask for a couple VERY important items of information such as quantity and SIZE, [smiley=doh.gif] ... just a little important, especially the latter, when it comes to ordering clothing. Yes, I too wore my limited edition collectible Gridiron t-shirt to my draft this morning. Unfortunately it was an autodraft, so the only person who seemed at all impressed with it was (not even a person), my dog. [smiley=dog.gif]

However, I had a terrible draft position and came out of it with a very solid team (quite possibly the best in the league), so I credit it all to the positive karma the shirt exuded. [smiley=bow.gif]

And, even though no one was around to see me, I looked good! [smiley=sophisticate.gif]

I wore my Gridiron T to the store today and some old guy behind me in line asked, "What is FFPro.com?" I told him it was a great website geared towards the Finger Food Professional... and he believed me! [smiley=LMFAO.gif] After explaining to him what it really was, he told me that his grandkids played fantasy football and he was going to have them check it out. Pretty cool.

I wore my t-shirt on Sunday and had a great week in my money league. This shirt seems to be bringing me good luck in the league so i'll have to keep wearing it. (I didn't wear it week one and my opponent had his best fantasy day in 3 years and eked out a victory.)

Also, Callie sent me some pictures of the shirt. They specifically show what's on the shirt, but not really how they're on the shirt, not that the design is very sophisticated, but it is clean and nice-looking and these pics do not really do it justice. However, they are better than nothing. Hopefully, seeing something will prompt more of you to make a purchase.

I do now realize that I have a scanner at my disposal here at school. So, I intend to take a couple more "catalog-type" shots with the shirt's being worn. As to when I will get around to that, though,... :-/ Lord only knows. In any event, please know that your purchase makes a difference. :)

Understand, I sent Steg scans of the logos because he said he wanted scans of the logos. Not a good medium for that sort of thing.

However...picture your lovely lady (or for the Gridironettes, your super hunk) walking around your living room, into your bedroom, wearing nothing but an extra large FFPro.com T.... Personally, that's what I wear around the house.

And your lady KNOWS how much you love fantasy football and the Gridiron. Take it from a lady, we like to make you guys happy with things like that.

Edit: Oh, forgot to mention, you have to tell her how GREAT she looks in it--and how sexy! Show some appreciation! Sometimes guys ask their ladies to wear things full of elastic and scratchy lace. Very uncomfortable! Trust me, the Gridiron T feels great. And a good stud knows how to make HER happy with things like that.

As you know, Steg. I'm doing some work for Consensus Draft Services, located at www.condraft.com. They are one of the top NFL Draft websites around. As of July 27th, they already have profiles of more than 300 college players, interviews with more than 50 players, and discussion boards where you can chat with some of the top NFL prospects for 2006.

Okay,... anybody a little more small scale. I ultimately, as stated above, ask this with it in mind to (re-)introduce to other web site owners/administrators/decision-makers "the Gridiron" web site add-on feature. This wouldn't be something condraft.com would be even remotely interested in doing, I would guess, right? I mean the add-it feature is very cool. The little forum summary box is a total gem. Everybody who enjoys "the Gridiron" (effort) and who has a league site should at least be linking to "the Gridiron" and, one step more, considering "the Gridiron" summary for their sites. It is SO EASY to add to an existing page. The biggest "hurdle" is simply changing the extension for the page from ".htm" or ".html" to ".php", which changes nothing with respect to the content/look/substance of the page.

Well,... the t-shirt sale is over... I, once again, thank those who placed orders. Of course, t-shirts can still be purchased at their regular price of $20 per, which, frankly speaking, actually helps the site more revenue-wise, obviously. So, by all "means", my fellow Gridironers, please continue placing orders for our site t-shirt. It's a great way to help the site in a twofold way: by way of the financial contribution and by way of getting the word out about the site by wearing the t-shirt. I have finally removed the link to the "Add 'the Gridiron' to your website" service, at least until I figure out how to do it again with new/different technology. I did some digging and did learn about newer techniques back in August when the code I had been using stopped working due to changes in service that our hosting company had made, namely in an effort to modernize technologies. I just have not had the time to devote to giving it a try, that is to say, to going through the time-consuming process of trial-and-error that learning and implementing code takes. I am going to try to get on this before the kickoff of the 2018 season. We shall see... [smiley=fingerscrossed.gif]
