Here is another one of our fun participatory threads here "between the 20's".  It is called "between the 20's Fantasy MVP's of the Week".  Here, you are to list your key player(s) for the week, the one or ones that were key to your victory(ies).  I really think we can have some fun with this! [smiley=havinablast.gif] You can expect this to be up every Monday or Tuesday from here on out!  HAVE FUN, fellas!!! [smiley=dancin.gif]

There will now be a complementary weekly thread to this one for the opposite circumstance:  "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin'"!!!  Make sure to check it out!!!

This Thing of Ours FFL:
I won my sixth straight game (7-3 now). This week was an easy win (138-48) and I didn't even need TO's big game on MNF, but he gets the game ball anyway.  (Honorable mention goes to Alge Crumpler who filled in nicely for Antonio Gates and also to Jimmy Smith.)

GBRFL2:
While Shaun Alexander had some nice yards (no TDs), and Steven Jackson and Brandon Lloyd each scored a TD (with low yardage totals), the game ball has to go to a kicker, Josh Brown, with his 4 FGs.

CBFL:
Jake Delhomme and Corey Dillon had nice games, but the New England Defense was phenomenal, allowing only 125 total yards, grabbing 5 turnovers and getting three sacks.

GotG:
I've finally put together a decent defense (after struggling at the beginning of the season) and won another game (3-7 now after starting 0-6).  Donovan McNabb gets the offensive game ball in a landslide, and Bob Sanders gets the defensive game ball -- edging strong performances from Alex Brown and Keith Bulluck.

GBRFL2 - The Pittsburgh D came through big time!

CBFL - Another game ball for the Pittsburgh D, and I also have to give one to TJ Duckett who stepped up a surprising effort.

GotG - Ummm, lets see. Marvin Harrison? No he sucked. Jeff Garcia. Nope again. My defensive players were all solid, but not enough to give me a victory. I'll give the game ball to TE Jermaine Wiggins who had a surprisingly good effort for the Muldering Foxes.

Probert - Curtis Martin continues to help this team win, and gets another game ball.

Givin' out a few game balls for this 2-0 week in the GBRFL...

QB Jake Delhomme [smiley=footballsmiley.gif]

WR Jimmy Smith [smiley=footballsmiley.gif]

WR Eddie Kennison [smiley=footballsmiley.gif]

and...

ME ;D for making a trade for Brian Griese (and Keenan McCardell) this week when I was down to one quarterback (we start two) [smiley=footballsmiley.gif] ... [smiley=victory.gif]

(I'm sure that move won me at least one of my two games this week.)
