So, fellow Gridironers, how do you think the year off from football will affect Williams in the long run, not just in the draft? Will it ruin him or not?

I don't think it will have any effect on him at all. He's going to still be a top 10 pick and will perform as such. The guy is an elite player. People say he only runs a 4.58 forty, but that's fast enough considering his size and athleticism. If he gets selected by a team that can utilize his talents immediately, the guy can put up good numbers as a rook.

Agreed. Williams is going to do much the same as Detroit's new tandem: Rodgers & RWilliams. He's considered a better WR in that he runs better routes and has excellent body control. He's not as fast (4.58 vs 4.4/4.48), but I think he'll post solid #s this season, even as a #1 WR.

I agree. I think he'll be fine too. Actually, I like him best out of the WR crop in the draft this year.
