Well...since I really can't put these in the team thread when they are just rumors at this point:

Word coming out of Philly is the Eagles will acquire Travis Henry for a third rounder. I will be VERY happy if this is true!!

Profootballtalk is RUMORING that Titans will trade Volek and #6 pick to Chargers for Rivers and 4th rounder. Doubt this will happen, but it was juicy enough to post.

Strong possibilty Skins will move up. Talking of giving up two first rounders and Rod Gardner to 49ers. Only time will tell on this one. My guess is they swap with Dolphins.........

I heard this too. I'd have to say this makes Henry a top 10 back again next season, maybe top 5?

:o Haven't heard this one! Who would the Chargers want so badly they'd dump Rivers? Gotta be Mike Williams right? This sounds a little implausible though.

Everyone knows WASH is trying to move up, but it seems no one can decide who they want! Edwards? Rodgers? (Smith is going to SF, despite all the rumors).

Then, to add my own rumor....the Vikings are supposedly thinking of moving up to #2 to take Edwards. I'd say this is a huge mistake! They are in a no lose situation at 7 right now. If someone jumps up to take Williams from them, they are almost assured a stud RB, else they get Williams! Then at 18 they should still be able to get Erasmus James, who I love! If Rodgers slips enough, they could even drop down a slot or 3 and still get James, plus pick up a 2nd that they can use to land Mike "Cat Scratch Fever" Nugent.

DAMN! Gotta love the Draft!

Darren Howard, DE, Saints on the move today?

According to Times Picayune, two teams have come up with offers so far.

Eaqles have supposively offered 31st pick for Howard. The Cowboys have supposively offered to swap first round picks. (16 for 11)

Simeon Rice could also be moved. Cowboys and Chargers have expressed interest.

If Henry goes to Philly, it kills his value. Brian Westbrook would still be the #1 back and would split carries with Henry.

I would not be surprised to see Henry be #1. Either way, I see Reid going back to his old style of splitting carries like Buckhalter and Westbrook. Ugly for fantasy owners!!!

ESPN Radio just reported the Henry sweepstakes is down to Arizona and Philly.... if Arizona agrees to give up it's 3rd round pick the seewpstakes is over... I hope Green does it. [smiley=fingerscrossed.gif] I like Henry but he'll be a little expensive for the role he'll play in Philly.
