I am not sold on the QBs this year, and would like to see Mike Williams go first. BTW - I'll be hanging in the chat room during the draft. Last year was fun with several of us in chat here. |

NFL Networks said GM wanted Pac Man while Fisher wanted Rolle. Guess GM won out. Now, the question is do the Vikes take Williams or Williamson? Cards then have a new QB in Rogers fall to them. Skins would be blessed if Mike Williams fell to them!!!!! |

Sure, Harrington still has some appeal, Garcia is a must-handcuff, Kevin Jones is a #1 RB... who is their top WR? I love Roy Williams, but the drafting of Mike Williams certainly bites into RW's production. And what about Rogers? How about that new TE, Marcus Pollard? What a mess (but a nice one for Mooch). |

As far as Mike Williams, I know you guys and Mel Kiper are all enamored with him, but as far as I'm concerned, he is now the second best receiver named 'Williams' on his team. He's possibly the third best receiver on the Lions if Charles Rodgers ever plays for more than 1 quarter a season. But at least Detriot found a replacement for Mikhael Ricks! |

Saban knows whats up. #3, Braylon Edwards = him and winslow = try and cover them both. #4, Cedric Benson = black & blue running game has finally been resurected. #5, Carnell Williams = under-rated and Gruden knows it. PERFECT fit. #6, Adam Jones = 2 for 1 deal as the Titans had one of the worst punt return units in the NFL. #7, Troy Williamson = Moss's speed replaced - C-Pep loses nothing. #8, Antrel Rolle = Pass-happy west coast division will feel his presence. #9, Carlos Rogers = Smoot replaced - best CB in draft? #10, Mike Williams = Bye Bye Charles Rogers - too much money spent on one position. Mike's the REAL deal and the best wide-out in this draft. #11, Demarcus Ware = the next LT? #12, Shawne Merriman = who better to mold this workout warrior than Smash-Mouth Marty! #13, Jammal Brown = 130 knock downs and no sacks allowed last season. They've been waiting to replace Kyle Turley. #14, Thomas Davis = BEST tackler in this draft. The Cat's defense just got scarier. # 15, Derrick Johnson = can play all 3 LB positions on a team that has all of it's starting lBs coming back from surgery. #16, Travis Johnson = Continues to build a powerful front 7. #17, David Pollack = Pollack brings a much needed explosive intensity to Marvin's defense. #18, Erasmus James = Vikes having a great draft - this defensive line is scary! #19, Alex Barron = Kyle Turley replaced times 2. Learning from Orlando Pace never hurts! #20, Marcus Spears = 3-4 defensive change in Dallas rearing it's montrous head with this pick. Parcells is doing cart-wheels. #21, Matt Jones = Shocker of the 1st round. but this guy has a "chance" to be scary. Jacksonville continues to be dedicated to surrounding Leftwich with players. #22 = Mark Clayton = Its time to go offense in Baltimore and this guy is where you start. An immediate impact. #23, Fabian Washington = Al Davis can't go without picking speed 2 years in a row. Though he is a reach at this point. #24, Aaron Rodgers = Good things happen to those who wait. Mike Sherman is fired after this year though. #25, Jason Campbell = I'm surprised. Ramsey will be with another team in the future. #26, Chris Spencer = Gifted and fortifys the inside offensive line with versatility. Solid pick. #27, Roddy "Sharron" White = consistent, fast and under-rated. Just what the Vick ordered. #28, Luis Castillo = reach here but, who are we to question Marty's defensive picks? #29, = Marlin Jackson = The next Ronde Barber but bigger. Instant impact - covered Braylon Edwards in practice. #30, Heath Miller = Big Ben's dream come true - great fit! and even greater value at this spot - much under-rated TE. #31, Mike Patterson = One-Gap penetrating high-motor hammer-head that will make an impact and keep Philly's trenches fresh. #32, Logan Mankins = Mean , hard-working destroyer along an offensive line that is filled with low round picks. |
