I missed it, so you'll have to provide details. Did they go out on a limb and say LT2 was the best RB and Peyton Manning was the best QB?

Well, to be absolutely honest, I was only paying like half-attention. There were only eight participants, Irvin, Young, Bakay, Kolber, Salisbury, Berman, and I can't remember the other two, and it only went for like nine or so rounds, so it didn't go very deep. The picks were basically the obvious. The show itself, however, was cool. They had like a simplified NFL draft set-up, scrolling the picks along the bottom and the team rosters. It definitely was a glimpse into the future of what fantasy football could become. It was cool seeing it on the big stage even though the quality was eh. It would be better to watch some real fantasy footballers going at it. [smiley=boxer.gif]

The other 2 participants were none other than our own espn analyzer, JAWS!!!!!
the last was that kid - Nick something - married to that blazing blonde who plays Daisy Duke in the new Dukes Of Hazzrd Movie.

The smack talking between each owner was priceless. There was a comment made about K. Winslow would have ben taken at a certain spot but, he was too busy using that great Hurricane Education popping Wheelies in the parking lot.

Like Steglets, even more so or less, I was half watching it.

Yes, it was your run of the mill FF deal. RBs rule. Although Jaws did choose Manning 2nd overall and was still able to grab 2 good RBs thereafter. However, he got into some bye week trouble as well and was harrassed for it by ESPN's Eric Korobel (spelling) - apparently their FF specialist.

Really, it seemed kind of like a set-up in a way - in which the owners made your run of the mill fantasy drafting mistakes so that - in order to highlight the primal mis-haps a rookie fantasy owner might make.

Such as not taking 2 RBs in the first 2 rounds.
Bye week problems.
Homerism picks (Bakay took BUFF's Defense too early).

Things of that nature.

However, overall it was cool. Because like Steg said, it was on the big time - kind of bringing emphasis to something that millions of people are participating in.

Hey Steg... if you can, grab a copy of Thursday's USA Today (8/25). There's a great article about the business side of fantasy football. Lots of valuable demographic information in there in your quest for advertisers/supporters for online/print publications. I saved a copy of the article if you are unable to locate it (I think it was in the Money section).
