Title: How would you rank my WRS
Post by tm20 on Oct 24th, 2005, 3:37pm
I am curious for some opinions on my WRS as I would like to ship 2 of them off in a trade involving some stud RB or maybe get Steve Smith or Chad from them. My ranking is as follows (based on my end of year overall fantasy production)

1. Moss
2. Plex
3. Galloway
4. Branch
5. Kurtis

Galloway and Branch are a tossup for 3 and 4 as far as i'm concerned.

So how do you guys rank em (1-5)? Are there 2 you would give up based on your expectations for the rest of the season? Any deals you would shoot for if you had these 5 WRS?

Thanks for any suggestions

I'd rank them just like you have them...unless Holt and Bruce will be out for an extended period of time. If that were the case, flip flop him with Branch.

Jim's... [smiley=bullseye.gif]

Before the Griese injury, Galloway could have been flip-flopped with Burress, but not now... with the uncertainty at QB.  I think Galloway will be better off if/when Rattay comes in.

Ditto on the ranking ;D

I would try and package up Branch and K. Curtis after this week for a RB, oh I'd say maybe Priest Holmes?

The owner of Holmes may or maynot have Johnson,  If he does, I'm sure he would bite.  If he doesn't, I would bet a whole lot that he won't be the feature back next year, if your in a keeper league.

If he was a first round pick, I'm sure he doesn't look too good on the WR side and just might bite.  Even if Holt and Bruce come back, Curtis is still a viable option every week.  And Branch is always a threat every week.

I myself was able to trade off Branch for Holmes.  Granted it was in week 3, but if you can sell it, I'd do it.

Branch is one of the most consistent WR fantasy wise right now.  He may not score every week, but he gets the catches and yards every week and definately has the big play ability. ( theres your pitch ::) )

But, back on the subject, you lookn gooood on the WR's.

I'm sure that deal I proposed would look pretty sweet now ;D

I'd definately give it a shot.

*note* Make sure and check on the status of his injury he sustained today.  If nothing else, I'd be willing to bet you could deal for Stephen Davis, or maybe Curtis Martin with Branch and K. Curtis.

Thanks for the suggestions, he seemed bent on sticking with Priest even though he is very deep at RB. I offered Galloway and Kurtis and he still didn't bite. Now Moulds had a big game for him so now im sure he likes his situation. Well, I traded my man Plex away, so now I keep my WRs.

Thanks for the input.

Bummer man  [smiley=nono.gif]

Well, I'm sure he will be disappointed in Moulds for the weeks to come.  They are having some issues offensively this year.

Your still doin ok in the RB dept. though
