You KILLED me this week in my "must win" game in the division. Randy, Get off your @$#%!! ass and play some football, wussy. Calico, You were "suppose" to be my big time sleeper for the week. Then you take yourself out of the game, don't tell anyone why, then make up some "calf strain" BS excuse!!?!?! Take an IV at halftime like everyone else does and get back in the game....wussy. O4L |

Title: Re: "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin' - Week 8" Post by lumber2121 on Oct 31st, 2005, 1:10pm The Bills, my favorite team, not only collapsed in the final minutes to lose the game, but they also gave up two TDs to Dillon. Needless to say, I am going against Dillon this week. I have a decent lead. It would have been much, much more comfortable if Dillon did not drill in two TDs late in the game. Nicely done, Bills DST. From the Department of the Glass is Half-Full: At least I did not pick up the Bills DST this week off of the waiver wire. That would have been the ultimate shocker. |

Title: Re: "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin' - Week 8" Post by BarnabyWilde on Oct 31st, 2005, 2:18pm I focking sat Antonio Gates because of his "questionable" status on the injury report. Now, I have a six point lead with Hines Ward still to go tonight. My opponent has Bettis. [smiley=madashell.gif] |

Title: Re: "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin' - Week 8" Post by KillerKingSting on Oct 31st, 2005, 11:09pm Barn-A-Bee, I feel yah bro, and then some, heres my halloween report of misfit coaching moves or rather, non-moves, guys that sat this week for my team STINGER'S STENCH OF THE BENCH! OFFENSE *Gates-TE/SD *50.92 pts. I bought into the injury thingy. I shouldn't have mixed info-sources. Weird that I did just THAT, this week. *Tiki-RB/NYG *46.81 pts. Against The Skins run-D? He was possessed while the Priest (08.75 pts) seemed out of it. *Ronnie-B "the next LT"-RB/MIA *21.47 pts. I knew this guy was on a roll. I told myself I was going to start playing him. I had him in my lineup. Then all of a sudden - he wasn't there anymore. Bad coaching week on backs for me. *Mark Bradley WR/CHI *16.52 pts. Not the studly numbers others on my bench had, BUT I was finally excited to see this guy in action! Everybody likes to steal a guy late in a draft that turns out to be a sleeper super-stud. Bradley was my guy this year. Drafting him in my rookie draft in the 6th round, trading him away and then, getting him BACK on my roster again in another trade, I was impressed with his numbers (5-88) against a stellar Detroit defense. But, now his injury status is somewhat uncertain and should certainly slow his progress. *Ernest Wilford-WR/JAX *33.92 pts. While some in my league are scrambling for receivers, I queitly picked up Wilford the other day and told someone that I thought he might start to break out. I half-way BEElieved myself. And now this. No I didn't start him. Who would? I hope it isn't the end. |

Title: Re: "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin' - Week 8" Post by KillerKingSting on Nov 1st, 2005, 3:49am Thanks for the update Barnaby, ah well, rookie receivers, Man!!! I really had hope for Bradley! and following my offensive flop this week, far BEE it from me to not share my disfunctional picks on the other side of the ball, STINGER'S IDP sss (IDIOTIC DEFENSIVE PICKS) And is the case with this week's therme, its more of the non-picks that I am BEEtchin bout, *Chaun Thompson LB/CLE *18.00 pts. Every week this guy is out playing some of my starters. Every week I always say I am going to start him. Every week he ends up sitting on my bench. *Osi Umenyiora DL/NYG *40.00 pts. Anyone who watched the Giants/Skins game knows the terror that Osi dished out. I always play him. Last minute Bench. I hate it when I do that. By the way IDP'ers, this guy is for real. *Darren Howard DL/NOR *34.00 pts. Did I miss something? He was supposed to BEE hurt. *Adrain Wilson DB/ARI *24.00 pts. Last minute bench. Lotta those this week. At least once a year I gotta go through this. Its like FF-coaching therapy or something. :P *Charles Tillman DB/CHI *35.20 pts. I own and start Mike Brown every week - the strong saftey for Tillman's same team - Da Bears! Regardless of being on the same team, I should bEE starting both of these guys! By the way, isn't that somewhat part of the THEME in fantasy football this year? That theme being players on the same NFL team playing the same NFL position are actually viable starters in many leagues. Mike Anderson & Tatum Bell; Priest Holmes & Larry Johnson; Jerome Bettis & Willie Parker coming up the pipes & Till his injury : Anquin Boldin & Larry Fitzgerald to name a few. |

Title: Re: "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin' - Week 8" Post by tm20 on Nov 1st, 2005, 10:26am Moss and Burress killed me. The only 2 guys I never really considered benching ate me alive. To make matters worse I had Marion barber, tatum and Branch on my bench. It gets worse than that. I played the owner with Carson, Steve Smith and Antonio gates. |

Title: Re: "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin' - Week 8" Post by StegRock on Nov 4th, 2005, 3:39pm Wow... Glad to see this thread inspiring that kind of discourse above... [smiley=thumbsup.gif] Well,... it's hard for me to bitch all too much this week... I had a BIG week and won in JYJ's "X-perts" [smiley=joker.gif] ... ;) league... and in the GBRFL, my lowly Hawaii [smiley=palmtree.gif] O-5 pulled out one of two and I really don't have anything negative to say. I will just dole out two playful middle fingers [smiley=flipa.gif] to WR Jimmy Smith, who's been pretty beat as of late and again this week. He's been such a stud for so long that I really do mean this playfully more than anything. I ultimately have little in the way of complaints with Jimmy. I just hope he can turn it back on for at least one last stretch here at the end of '05. So, here's two fingers "all tangled up" for that... [smiley=fingerscrossed.gif] |
