Title: "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin' - Week 14" Post by StegRock on Dec 12th, 2005, 12:03am Here is another one of our fun participatory threads here "between the 20's". It is called "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin'". Here, you are to list the player(s) for the week, the one or ones who particularly dicked [smiley=dick.jpg] you in the ass [smiley=moon.gif] and were the key(s) to your loss(es). I really think we can have some fun venting our frustrations [smiley=frustrated.gif] here together! You can expect this to be up every Monday or Tuesday from here on out! HAVE FUN gettin' it ALL out, fellas!!! Remember the complementary weekly thread to this one for the opposite circumstance: "between the 20's Fantasy MVP's of the Week"!!! Make sure to check it out!!! |

Title: Re: "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin' - Week 14" Post by StegRock on Dec 15th, 2005, 2:45pm This first part of the post is not really going to be a shit list post as much as it is one by an owner of a bumbling bad team in the GBRFL (who did just post two wins, though, this week). I know these guys are "future" guys, but I just wish Parcells and Shanahan, respectively, would start making it clear on the field what the "futures" of Barber and Dayne are. I think they would both flourish in those respective offenses if given the opportunity. I personally think Dayne will take Anderson's positon next year and, as I've stated elsewhere on the site, Barber will win the job over Jones during the offseason. BUT, I just wish they weren't being held back now, moreover, in such unpredictable ways that don't make it clear to me which one I should play when. I had Barber on my bench this week; Dayne on Thanksgiving. Argh! [smiley=Uwent2far.gif] As for disappointments, i.e. shit list guys, pretty much ALL a bunch of WR's: in the GBRFL, Ashley Lelie, Mike Williams and Troy Williamson, who granted may still have bright futures ahead of them, but were conspicuously absent this year, especially the two rooks, and Antwaan Randle El, who, it's become fairly evident, just isn't going to get his shot in Pittsburgh, especially with Ward's signing his long-term deal; in JYJ's league (where I still remain in the running for a championship), Joe Horn, but I don't know if I can put all the blame on him; I think his performance this year is but a residual effect of MANY greater circumstances, namely Hurricane Katrina and an incompetent QB. |
