Here is another one of our fun participatory threads here "between the 20's".  It is called "between the 20's Fantasy MVP's of the Week".  Here, you are to list your key player(s) for the week, the one or ones that were key to your victory(ies).  I really think we can have some fun with this! [smiley=havinablast.gif] You can expect this to be up every Monday or Tuesday from here on out!  HAVE FUN, fellas!!! [smiley=dancin.gif]

There is also a complementary weekly thread to this one for the opposite circumstance:  "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin'"!!!  Make sure to check it out!!!

Well, with our new "extended" Week 17 in the GBRFL, things are far from over...  But, for my team, things pretty much are... have been for weeks now (even though I am currently ahead in the "bumper week" game between the #1 seed and the #10 seed (me) [smiley=whistle.gif]).  Furthermore, with all the Week, or should I say, "Weak" 17 :-/ Falcons I fielded, things got depressing real fast for me here in the final push.  BUT, looking to the future,... all I can really do at this point,... I do want to acknowledge the modest-but-, I believe, -forshadowing performances, if you are good at reading between the lines that is, of four players that I expect over the next two seasons will lead my team back to prominence in the GBRFL:  QB Charlie Frye, RB's Ron Dayne and Cedric Benson and WR Arnaz Battle.  Their modest, but solid performances Week 17 and, for that matter, during their limited opportunities during the '05 season overall are indicative of bright futures.  Each of their Week 17 performances in particular, however, really seem to embody, to me and my 17-year seasoned eye, that "sneaky-good", "under-the-radar" [smiley=radar.gif] quality.
