Title: GRIDIRON GUARANTEE - Week 5
Post by Philly on Oct 6th, 2006, 4:13pm
Gridiron Guarantee is a weekly feature where you get to show off your football knowledge [smiley=graduate.gif] and make a bold prediction concerning any game or player for the coming weekend.

The prediction can be game-related, fantasy-specific, or personal. [smiley=footballsmiley.gif]

Make a bold prediction. Don't just say "Matt Leinart will struggle against a surprising Chiefs defense." That's too easy. Predict something that will have everyone in awe when it actually happens. For example, "Kurt Warner, relegated to holding the clipboard this weekend, drops the clipboard three times, losing it twice." Then come back here on Monday or Tuesday and give us all the "I told you so"s. If you're wrong, who will ever remember? [smiley=tonguin.gif]

The Bills rolls into the Windy City to play the mighty Chicago Bears defense, but somebody forgot to tell Peanut Tillman that Lee Evans is a STUD......14 catches 195 yards and 3 tds lead them to a cover, but not a win.......Peanut gets his revenge and picks off a pass in OT for the Bears 3 point victory.

QBs Andrew Walter and Alex Smith wage the passing TD war of the season, with both throwing for over 300 yards and 4 TD's.

After the game, Randy Moss (who has received for over 100 yards and 2 TD's) hugs Art Shell.

T.O. scores twice against his old teammates. Not too bold of a prediction...but...the kicker is that he appears to be HUMBLE after each score!! Post-game interviews reveal otherwise. ::)

Gridiron guarantee # 2 from ole MC. [smiley=fireman.gif] Huard makes another solid start. He plays mistake-free football, throwing for 2 TD's (maybe 3) and starts a "mini" QB controversy in KC. Hey .. I was right about him last week!!!

BOTH Dominic Rhodes and Joseph Addai rush for at least 100 yards and a touchdown.
