Gridiron Guarantee is a weekly feature where you get to show off your football knowledge [smiley=graduate.gif] and make a bold prediction concerning any game or player for the coming weekend.

The prediction can be game-related, fantasy-specific, or personal. [smiley=footballsmiley.gif]

Make a bold prediction. Don't just say The Jags are a better team with David Garrard as their starting QB. That's too easy. Predict something that will have everyone in awe when it actually happens. For example, As soon as Tennessee gets a lead on Jacksonville, Byron Leftwich will miraculously be cured of his injuries and be re-inserted into the starting lineup. If they still lose the game, then fans will be calling for Matt Jones to get a shot as the QB. Then come back here on Monday or Tuesday and give us all the "I told you so"s. If you're wrong, who will ever remember? [smiley=tonguin.gif]

Randy Moss will catch two TD passes for the cameras on Monday Night Football and will only drop one pass (just to keep the streak going).

Mike Vick, in a valiant effort to disprove my theory that he is not a QB, but a RB who takes a direct snap from center every play, will put up more than 350 passing yards and 4 TDs through the air against Detroit this weekend.

Mike Vick takes a step back and looks like the Vick we all really know he is. No more than 200 yards passing and 1 TD throw...his usual 60 yards rushing with a TD. [smiley=idontknow.gif] All against a weak Detroit team too!

Because cincy is playing on the road, I predict that the Bungals will have more players sent to Jail after the game then the Dirty Birds.

(I canNOT believe I am going to predict this...) :'( Jake Plummer plays poorly and gets benched by the beginning of the fourth quarter in favor of Jay Cutler. Plummer, though, will remain the starter going into Week 10 because Cutler will also not do much against a stout Steelers D. BUT, Plummer's leash [smiley=peedog.gif] will have morphed into a full-on choker. (I actually pray [smiley=pray.gif] this does NOT happen. [smiley=fingerscrossed.gif])
