Title: Our Hearts go out to the Jurevicius's & Dilfer's Post by StegRock on Mar 23rd, 2003, 6:06pm If you don't already know, here is the AP story from CNN/SI: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/news/2003/03/22/dilfer_son_ap/. It is VERY sad! I, for one, think that, debates about quarterbacking prowess aside, Trent is one of the genuinely good guys of the NFL. He has a good heart, which he wears on his sleeve. I hope the best for him and his family and wish for his little boy a quick recovery. Let's all us Gridironers send out our good vibrations to the kid! Express away... Edited to change the Topic! |

I didn't even know there was such thing as a heart virus. ??? Let's hope this sad story has a happy ending. |

Title: Re: A Prayer for Trent Dilfer's little boy Post by Keyshawn Johnson 76yards on Mar 25th, 2003, 7:28pm On a very much sadder note... Tampa Bay WR Joe Jurevicious, whom may you remember was on constant back and forth flights during the playoffs, due to an illness that was affecting his son... sadly, his son has died... here is the news on this terrible terrible story... A prayer should also go out to the Jurevicious family... Joe is a really good guy. I personally met him when he was still playing here in Jersey, and he's a very classy guy. http://www.buccaneers.com/newsroom/newspage.asp?newsid=2946 |
