Haha!!!! And I was pulling for them in the Super Bowl, too... :'( Charlie Garner ("Lightning" from "Thunder and Lightning" WAYYYY back in the day, himself and Ricky Watters) deserved that FOR SURE. Don't like Gannon, but I wanted Timmie Brown to get a ring too. Don't like Keyshawn too much and ANY of their D besides Brooks; too big-headed. Oh well, next year-- MY EAGLES :o)

However, I saw Panthers mentioned above and with their signings, how many of you think they'll improve greatly next year, with their D already being pretty good? I think they may sneak themselves into the playoffs.

Yea, I guess I could see their making the playoffs. They play in a division made up of teams historically weak (but, I suppose that is changing given the current Super Bowl Champions). Outside chance if they can get consistent production out of their QB position. Ultimately, though, along the lines of the topic of the thread, they have a right to wear their black and silver (and light blue) to the playoffs, if they do make it, and anywhere else for that matter.

Yeah, well they got Delhomme who is supposed to be a good player that was never given the chance (that type of media story), and I assume after taking Jordan Gross in the 1st round (just my opinion), they'll go after Chris Simms in the 2nd. I feel Simms is a strong QB and could easily compete with Delhomme for the job. We'll see though, Simms may go earlier than the Panthers pick in the 2nd.

I don't think the enitre Raider's organization is to blame... Al Davis is to blame. This is just one of his many "piss off the NFL purposely" antics.

as it is that i am a raider fan and have been for about 20yrs or so. I can tell you this. The true raider fan has come to expect such foolish nonsence from our beloved al davis it is als way of one thumbing his crooked nose at the nfl establishment and two it keeps everyone talking about his favorite subject himself and his beloved raiders. So the answer to the topic is yes all this is bulls--t and we raider fans absolutlely love it. We have only hoped that Al would put as much effort into winning titles as he doe's trying to win friviolus law suites. thanks for listening to my thoughts.
