OK- My computer ignorance may be coming through. Did the size of the screen change here at the GridIron? It seems that I have to scroll now(to the right) to view an entire message if it is more than one line.

I checked my text size and that is what it has only been. Strange........ Someone let me know I am not crazy.

You may have changed your whole screen resolution. I'm sure you know how to fix it, but just in case... right click your desktop, click properties, then settings, and make it 1024x768, that's my favorite.

Strange. Thanks, for da suggestion, but it seemed to fix itself. I just rebooted twice and it seems to have cured itself. This was the only place I was having this issue. But then again, this is the only message board I use.

Ah ha! I know what it is. I think it is that logo Mr Stegeman is using that has all the leagues. It makes the posts look funny. I figured it out when I went to look at the other threads. This one is fine, threads with his new graphic are not.

EXCELLENT, Double D! Thanks for hashing this out and, ultimately, letting me know! On my screen it doesn't look too big, but I have an "oversized" monitor. I know in the past, while I was back working on my computer in Korea, which has a normal-sized monitor, someone else, our member "Philly-5-on-it" I believe, had an Eagles graphic in his signature that was too long like that and it created the same "problem" that you are describing. I will get right on it, in any event! [smiley=bow.gif]

I guess it all depends on what resolution you use. I had no problems with the length of the sign.

Yes, KJ 76, it primarily boils down to resolution setting with the secondary factor being monitor size. At exactly the same resolution, my laptop, my desktop (in Korea) with your typical (17", I think) monitor, and my desktop (here) that has an oversized (22", I think) monitor, all display things slightly differently (with regards to how it fits on the screen, that is). Ultimately, everybody has to choose a resolution setting for their monitor/computer that maximizes the enjoyment of their surfing experience and typically that is 1024X768, or perhaps 800X600 if you have bad eyes or sometimes even 1152X864 if you have good eyes and like to scroll less. Changing the "Text Size" setting of your browser only changes things relatively marginally, i.e. within the scope of your resolution setting; think of its effect as that of a magnifying glass.
