Well, fellas,

You guys may be noticing the slow and steady addition of features and "upgrades" happenin' lately. You probably by now have already "experienced" the pop-up ticker. IT IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT! It is a feature that also exists on "the Gridiron Newsstand". So, what's ya' all's take on it as a pop-up at the forum?

OR

[smiley=thumbsdown.gif] , I don't like it as a pop-up; just have it on "the Gridiron Newsstand"!

I really have no preference. It's TOTALLY up to you guys. So, what's YOUR vote?

I do not like it to be honest. It slows the load process down.

What I really hate is that once I close it, and go to a different page, it reappears. UGH!!

ONE NOTE, though, if you just leave it open, it will just stay there "behind the scenes" and shouldn't be bothersome at all, i.e., it doesn't keep opening up a new one. BUT, again, I don't care how this vote comes out. I know I like it as an addition to "the Gridiron Newsstand". I am VERY undecided as to whether or not I like it as a pop-up. I do somewhat like the fact that having it pop up does give us the opportunity to plug other features of our site. [smiley=shrug.gif]

ANYWAY, keep them votes a comin'!

I'll be fine with whatever the group decides, but if it were up to me, I'd leave it on the Gridiron Newsstand. I don't like pop-ups of any kind.

Wouldn't of known it was there. I've got pop-up stopper pro installed, so I'll ~~run to new mexico~~ abstain.

Fellas,

This turned out to be a quick decision. Between where this vote was probably going to go AND something I just realized, like that the pop-up was going to come up when, e.g., someone would go to the "Register" page, I have decided to get rid of it. As per the example, I DEFINITELY would not want a pop-up of any kind coming up when people go to register. I do think it is a marvelous addition to "the Gridiron Newsstand", and that is where it should exclusively exist! Thanks to those of you that did chime in over the last hour. I appreciate your input.

I was wondering why I didn't see it pop-up... I guess I got in too late...

Anyway, [smiley=thumbsup.gif], I like it on the Newsstand page.
