Fellas,

I thought if we are actually going to get this get-together that many of us have discussed now and again together, it needed to be addressed like now if we are going to do it during the season.  So, bottom line question...  Who of you guys would be willing to make a concerted effort to come together in the New Jersey-Pennsylvania-New York-Delaware area for a "Gridiron Gathering" (dudes in other regions, feel free to work on your own gatherings if you want)?  I see us doing it on a Sunday for the games or perhaps a Saturday late in the season when there are Saturday games.  Any thoughts on the where and the when?  Shout it out!

I vote for somewhere in Philadelphia.  I can't make it the weekends of Nov 8th, 15th, or 22nd. I will be out of town

It doesn't matter to me whether in Philly, NY, or Jersey. Though, preferably Philly or Jersey since I know my way around both better then in NY. Also, my brother just moved out to Philly, so I have a place to stay if that.

Philadelphia is cool with me.  Anywhere in NJ is cool with me.

Dates could be difficult, but November has some possibilities right now.

Well, the Philster (Jeff) and I held the first "official" Gridiron meeting today.  Yup, hooked up at the Applebee's right off Exit 105 of the GSP.  It was great actually meeting one of the guys, moreover, one who has given so much of himself to this place.  We barely even ate.  We talked for over three hours in the restaurant and then for another 45 or so minutes in the parking lot.  Good time, good guy, a dude I am proud to be in association with!

Definitely a good time.  Don't forget our very accomodating waitress, Chrissy.  She definitely deserves a plug too.  (Have fun with the double entendre Steg.)

Mark your calendars!  June 3rd, 2004, in San Francisco!

Hope everyone can make it.

Actually, I'm flying out to San Fran on business tomorrow (thru Sunday) and will be meeting up with two legendary FantasyFootballers:  BarnabyWilde and Tony_O.

I'm sitting in a hotel room in downtown SF as we speak.  However, the West Coast Gridiron Gathering has been temporarily postponed due to an unexpectedly busy schedule on the part of another Gridironer.
