This is surprising! [smiley=ohshit.gif] There really is little to NO public support for this on the west side (where the stadium would be built) or in the tri-state area in general. There is some support for building a bigger convention center in the area (replacing or in addition to the Javitz Center, I don't know), but not a stadium for an NFL team. I guess the almighty [smiley=money.gif] speaks louder.

I think it is only fitting that the NEW YORK Jets play in New York. (Now if we can only get those Giants out of NJ too!) [smiley=hellyeafunny.gif]

Yea, since they are called the New York Jets anyway...

I would like it, though, not that I would become a fan, but to give respect to the state of New Jersey, if at least one of them became the New Jersey team as that is in fact their home. Ironically, I would actually prefer that team to be the Jets, though. They would also seem like the more likely candidate given the long history of the New York Football Giants. Instead, it's the Jets that (may) go (back) to New York. It's all a conspiracy against Jersey. [smiley=flipoffangrily.gif]
