Title: Pro Bowl Dud Picks
Post by GOLF_FREAK on Dec 24th, 2004, 7:51am
I really can't stand how some people get into the probowl every year based on prior year stats and just cause people know his name.  My guy in Chicago (Krutz), what a buster and yet he goes again.  I also have this dud on my fantasy team named Ahman Green.  Does anybody think he should make it this year?  Not me.

Jeremiah Trotter. Stupid pick.

I would agree with trotter! He wasn't even on someone's roster for the entire season. Then he didn't even start until a couple a weeks ago.

I agree with Trotter as a questionable choice.  While he has made a huge difference with the Eagles defense and has played at a Pro Bowl level since he was inserted as a full-time starter at MLB, he didn't play the position long enough this year to merit the selection.  (Although who should have been selected ahead of him?  I can only think of two that could have been, Antonio Pierce and - maybe - Nick Barnett.)

Derek Smith is a good choice. Barnett also merits the selection over Trotter.
