I just saw one of the funniest things I have ever seen in a football game. I have a nasty cold this weekend, so while I'm lying around on the couch I'm watching arena football for something to do.

Arena football. Apparently the last play of the game. Chicago has the ball, first down, short yardage. Colorado is up 43-40 against Chicago. Looks like Colorado has intercepted Chicago in the end zone. But wait - defensive penalty. The problem is that Colorado released a whole lot of CONFETTI!

Time out to CLEAR OFF the confetti!

A Chicago field goal ties the score, overtime, and some machine comes out before the overtime to clear off more of the confetti!

Wonder what they would do about snowballs.

Just to let you know how it came out:

Colorado, (John Elway is an owner), has the first possession and gets picked near the goal line. Chicago misses a game winning field goal. Colorado scores a TD and moves on to their version of the Superbowl. And they still have a whole lot of confetti left.
