Title: Oh NO its T.O. Post by Kaptain_Kirk on Feb 14th, 2006, 2:27am Yesterday I went to the 2006 NFL Pro Bowl. I purposely wore a Terrell Owens jersey, just to see the crowd reaction. WOW no matter what team people were a fan of the overwhelming reaction was T.O. is a bum. While I'm not a Eagles fan I think we put to much stock I what was obviously a problem between the Eagles and T.O., not McNab or any other player. We are quick to forget he is arguably the greatest WR next to Jerry Rice. Although he displays childish behavior from time to time what star athlete doesn't? When an athlete rises to the cream of the crop they carry an altitude in some shape or form (i.e. Jordan ousting a coach, Barkley and Alomar spiting in the face or Kobe well you know the rest.) we can find fault in them all. Bottom line is he is a gifted star WR. Where will he end up? Tell me what you think? [smiley=bouncin.gif] [smiley=bouncin.gif] |

Title: Re: Oh NO its T.O. Post by steelkings on Feb 14th, 2006, 6:45am Newby, Welcome home! When T.O Announced last year that he needed to rework his 1 year old contract to assure the fact that his family wouldnt have to eat Mac & Cheese to survive, He lost me. For every athlete you name that " displays childish behavior" I'll name 10 that treat the game with the highest respect it deserves. |

Title: Re: Oh NO its T.O. Post by Oakland4life on Feb 14th, 2006, 2:36pm Well, in regards to your question, and question alone. I think T.O. will most likely end up in Atlanta. The Falcons have always been on the verge of a breakthrough year. This year was no different. They looked solid the first half of the season, but blew it in the end. Just like previous years. They have absolutely no air threat. They do have a great running game, but only when they use the ONLY reciever (which is their TE) they have to block. Atlanta just makes total sense. Michael Vick needs to prove he can throw, T.O. needs to prove he can be a viable franchise player he once was. Its a win win in my books. |

Title: Re: Oh NO its T.O. Post by BarnabyWilde on Feb 14th, 2006, 3:28pm Gifted? Yes. Jerk? Yes. Do I want him on the Giants? No. I think he ends up in KC, although Atlanta makes sense as well. |

Title: Re: Oh NO its T.O. Post by StegRock on Jul 21st, 2006, 8:46pm Thought this was the right thread for this piece... off "The REAL Feed": McNabb fires back at Owens and T.O.'s 'children's book (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2526459&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlines) ESPN: NFL (21.07.2006 17:19) Donovan McNabb does a better job avoiding tacklers than lingering questions about Terrell Owens. Uh-oh! [smiley=ohshit.gif] ... [smiley=arguing.gif] |
