We may be waiting a looooong while for this to get hashed out,... which I suppose is not a bad thing because I guess that means that in the interim Tags would remain the man. From "The REAL Feed":

Steelers chairman Dan Rooney and Panthers owner Jerry Richardson were named co-chairmen of the committee that will spearhead efforts to choose his successor.

So, does that mean Rooney has been eliminated from consideration/has eliminated himself from consideration? I think he himself is a good candidate.

As I am working [smiley=builder.gif] on the finishing touches over at StegsList.com, I just hear on ESPN (some of you may have heard it, too), "We've got breaking news... They're setting up a podium in Chicago. There's going to be an announcement. Let's go to John Clayton live in Chicago." And,... of course, a little shock of excitement goes through me as my eyes dart toward the tube, and I'm thinking Thomas Jones trade news, Cedric Benson injury news... [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif] But, of course not,... it's just that it looks like this Goodell guy is going to be the next NFL commish... :-/ Ho-hum... ;) ... ;D
