Boy, this is difficult...  I'm going with my heart here, but that's what I did with the Playoff Challenge, and we "all" know where that got me...

Colts - 24
Bears - 23

...in one for the ages!!!

Going out on a limb here, but an underdog needs three things to have a shot: a good defense that can create turnovers, a running game, and good special teams. The Bears have all three. If they can pick Manning a couple times and get a big return or two from Hester, they've got a shot.

Bears 23
Colts 20

Here, here...  That's solid reasoning, notwithstanding my paranthetical addition.  The Bears do have the "bottom line", so to speak, covered in a way that the Colts do not.

All of which were exemplified with efficacy in the first quarter...

I did forget to mention that sometimes there is a certain variable that can outweigh those three other factors (defense, running game, special teams).

This variable is known as the X-factor. In this case, we can call it the Rex-factor.

The Bears should have practiced, "Safe Rex"!

To be honest, he played well at times, but whenever he throws off his back foot, look at both INT's, the ball sails high and he gets into trouble. When he plants his front foot and throws, he has a nice tight ball.

I didn't know you had x-ray vision, Toner.  It does seem, however, that when Rex plants his front foot, he does have nice tight balls...

Seriously, this is just proof in the pudding that we are in an era of AFC dominance.  I don't know how these cycles work, but it'll come back around eventually.  My guess is not too soon, though.
