Ohio State can schedule the likes of Kent St., Akron, and Miami (OH), play in a weakish conference, and lose a game to Michigan (who lost to a 1-AA team), and still be considered the #1 team in the nation? Some teams will never get the respect they deserve. I'm an SEC fan (and grew up cheering for Georgia), but I hope that Hawai'i takes them to town and forces the voters to at least think about the importance of an undefeated season. |
