Guys, I am beginning work on the GBRFL2 site and there are a couple things I need: 1) If you have not yet sent me a PHONE NUMBER and/or an additional/regular e-mail address for the "Owner Information" page, PLEASE do so, preferably by e-mail, A.S.A.P.! 2) I would like each of you to indicate, preferably right here in this thread, how many years you have been playing fantasy football (on a fairly serious level) for our "History" page. Include this year! Thank you! Over and out, Steg

Yes, it's like 2:45 a.m.! BUT, YOU ALL's GBRFL2 web site is LIVE... and ALIVE! Enjoy the ride, boyz, and treat her well! She is a nice one! You will all be getting an e-mail shortly (yea, I'll be up a little longer) with your permissions for your respective lineup submission forms as well as the password the "Owner Information" page. PLEASE be patient, guys, and try to do a little figuring out on your own first before rushing to me with a deluge of questions, BUT do let me know of any actual problems you incur. Thank you!

Same here Steg... looks great. I just submitted my lineup too... 3 questions come to mind... #1 - Is our assigned password permanent, or is there somewhere we can change it? #2 - I clicked on the Owner Info link, was prompted for a password (at which I entered that nasty amalgamation of letters and numbers I was provided), and then was told it was an invalid password. #3 - I am dropping a player this week. Since I only provided a list of three players to add, there is a chance I won't get any of them. If that happens, does the player still get dropped (in this case it is fine if he does, but I could see other scenarios where it would not be OK.)

| [/quote] No the player will not be dropped if you do get get someone on the list. SO ONLY LISt PLAYERS YOU WANT. However, if you want to drop someone no matter what, you can make a note in the comments section. (not sure how this is beneficial, but you can do it)

With regards to Philly's question about the permanency of passwords, there is no way to automatically reset them on the user's end at this time. I may let dudes change them to something more "user-friendly" someday by sending it in to me and doing it manually, but not today and probably not during this season. There may even come a time, depending on where the site as a whole goes, where I set it up so it's all automatic, but that ain't happenin' in the near or even kind of near future. Regarding Chumpzilla's query, before the kickoff of the first game(s) of any given week you can submit your lineup AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT. We just go by what one was most recently submitted. That even stands if someone forgets to put in a lineup. We just go by whatever lineup is at the top of your lineups page, i.e. the most recent one you submitted. Also of note here, remember that soon after the kickoff of the games, like usually within 5 minutes, but almost always within 1 hour, you can go to the lineups section and view everybody's lineup. Peace out and good luck!

First off, I had no problems with the password with regards to lineup access/submission. The problem I had was with the OWNER INFO link on the title page. When I click it, it prompts me for a password (no username). I entered the one sent to me, exactly as it was sent (yes, I understand case sensitivity) and it still gives me an INVALID PASSWORD error. Secondly, as far as dropping a player, I drafted Adrian Murrell. He was cut and no one picked him up. There is no point in having him on my roster whether I get a replacement or not. I'll resubmit my lineup with more detailed instructions. Thanks!

Well, Phil, I never said your "problem". My response was to the following "question" of yours... on Sep 3rd, 2003, 8:48am, Philly wrote:#1 - Is our assigned password permanent, or is there somewhere we can change it? |
| Regarding the password for the "Owner Information" page, I don't know what's up. It works, bottom line! Regarding your other issue, don't make rocket science out of it! Just drop Adrian Murrell with your Week 1 drops. If you want him dropped no matter what, i.e. even if you do not pick up any of the guys on your free-agent request list(s), just simply state so. Ultimately, this is a VERY simple, straightforward system/process. "Player transactions" of any kind, in effect, all go through at the same time, ONCE a week.

| I was responding to the point DD made earlier... I should have quoted it I guess... sorry about the confusion. Anyway, I'm glad the Owner Information page works. Maybe someone can tell me what's on it because it don't work for me. Quote:Regarding your other issue, don't make rocket science out of it! Just drop Adrian Murrell with your Week 1 drops. | I'll just go ahead and put in a bunch of players on the pickup list so as not to confuse and complicate things.
