Jeff, when you go to do the lineups, make sure you remember to scroll down and line up the dates right for Week 11 and Week 12, respectively. I know you're not an idiot, but this is a mistake I myself have made when in this situation. I'm just giving you a heads up. | I DIGRESS...
By the way, sk, in case you didn't notice on the "Transactions" page for the mother league this week, I took a page out of your book. I TOO like "that guy" going into next year. I'm thinking, alas, my boy, who I've shown much off- and pre-season love for over the past few years, Rudi, hath hit the wall. |

| I was starting to feel bad about the pick up. I thought I went too early. You know, I had him ranked higher than Lynch visa via ability. Lynch was only better because he had no one playing in front of him. Irons would have definatly gone in the first 4 players taken in last years Duece draft had he not hurt himself. The bad news about Irons is I have heard him talk. They asked him how camp was going and he used the bleeped out term "Mu Folk" 3 time in one response. He is a ghetto guy playing for the Bengals. The good news is, even with all that free time on his hands, he suprisingly hasn't been arrested.........YET! | I DIGRESS...
More impressive than me picking up Irons , is you trading for Roethlisberger and weakening your runningbacks by giving up MDJ, then finding a way to fix that by picking up Irons. In a sense that works out to be Roethlisberger, Witten, Irons and a 2nd round draft pick for MDJ. That!, Is the work of a Steely-Eyed Fantasy Guy. |

Well, sk, I don't know how much Irons will make up for the departing MJD. He's ultimately a (long) shot in the dark (and, no, I don't mean this... ... ). Getting Andre Hall to back up Selvin Young will also help. In any event, though, I gather you (too) are not a believer when it comes to Deion Branch and don't think Boller has a snowball's chance in hell of being the future in Baltimore or, even if he does, that doesn't mean much. This is especially in light of the fact that tight-ends, even of Witten's caliber, are far from "at a premium" in this format. I'm guessing you might also be just a little skeptical of MJD. Am I reading you right? |

Regarding Week 11's results, I'll probably work on them for a good portion of Thanksgiving day. Hopefully I'll have them up that night for yous. Okay, go and get them there lineups in... |
| Ditto... for this week... minus the Thanksgiving part.

Thanks for the response, sk. The timing of it... so-so in all honesty... At this point, though I haven't followed it up thoroughly, I think, as I wrote up on that thread "between the 20's", that Double-D from the mother league has come up with a comparable option both in terms of the stats package and price. It will cost only $60.00 more for the season, that is, if I want exactly what I had with TQStats. At any rate, in the meantime, researching and coming up with more options just in case surely wouldn't hurt. As far as . goes, it's the same old story... To get this place anywhere will take money,... period. Meanwhile, expenses continue to creep up, like as will probably be the case with the new stats service. "Bottom line", in light of all the new circumstances that are on the VERY near horizon in the Steggie household (mainly, ), which will cause my expenses to "CREEP" up, until we can muster up a good, say, three thou in a given year, at this point, we're probably stuck. In fact, there are some feature cutbacks coming. As for the league, sk, I'm guessing you are talking about this http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=56;a ction=display;num=1193607030, right? Good luck getting it together. If you do and if you want it, you'll definitely have a league board waiting for you here. Just keep me abreast (or two ... ) of how it's going and when you would want your board.
