Steve's only three posts up in "the Red Zone" of late... on Oct 30th, 2009, 7:42am, DirkDiggler wrote:This article alludes to the fact that Culpepper will get the start if Stafford does not go. ... I don;t think anyone was sure of Culpeppers health and Stanton's status. My guess is only those in deep keep leagues even care about the Lions QB situation. |

And more importantly, he is NOT losing the games by making dumb mistakes. He plays into the Bills strength, which is the running game. If the Bills somehow manage to beat Houston, then I believe Buffalo will keep Fitzpatrick as a starter. |

| Gee,... they're not done with any m.o. or at least "self-interest" in mind... Purely objective analysis...

| Do I have a self interest in the QB situation? YES!!! I even allude to it with the smily face. That is why I was following it so close. Sadly, I am probably the only one following the situation. Does anyone else care? The answer would probably be NO. And in two of them I was merely pointing out the facts of the article. Seem's everyone's motives are in question.....

| Well,... that's a bit tendentious now, Stevo... Are there motives for my pointing it out here? Yea, but they are pretty obvious and fairly innocuous. As far as what I do up in "the Red Zone", though, I am just posting the headlines off "The REAL Feed" as I do with EVERYTHING ELSE. With that said, Steve, I too followed my post with a... for (I do appreciate that) (the content of) your posts are still appropriately objective for the venue up there, unlike Joe's, whose I often delete, move or at least cringe at. Your move, to your credit, is a more subtle one where it is not so much the immediate content of your post as it is your choice to even post (or at least prioritzie the posting of) that particular content. Joe has a habit of making posts containing blatantly GBRFL-motivated content up in "the Red Zone" which are not really appropriate for "the Red Zone". To your credit, the content of your posts are typically (we all may slide from time to time; that's no big deal) never obviously strictly GBRFL-motivated. That said,... ...

Maybe they forgot that there was a Thursday night game???, either way it's a big mistake. Trout just may be too ashamed with his shitty team, maybe he thinks he will do better if he doesn't submit one. ATTN ALL>>>>>There will be Thursday night games the rest of the year. IF Steg's noticed was not enough then maybe you will read this post. Trout I would be interested in your 1st round F/A pick this week. Call me. |
| Just to clarify, EVERYONE is interested in your first round pick this week Trout. Injuries were brutal this week. Ultimately, Trout may be the biggest benefactor as he has 1st round pick, Forsett, and Bernard Scott.

Yes he probably is, but nonetheless still building for the future, and should use my offer...ala Steve Warnerisk...and squeeze even more blood from the Turnip/owner that he deals with. I also don't think that Bohrer or Pak really ahve any interest. They don;t need anything except more weeks to continue kicking all of our asses!!! He is the biggest benefactor because he did a good job of taking Backup RBs with his picks. I did the same thing last year. He could have had Moats too if he didn't trade that pick. So now he has starters and draft picks. He is working his situation to his advantage!!! Great Job Dave!! Keep it up dude. The guys hit the hardest are you and Steg. You have picks, but wont deal players, and Steg has players and will deal players. I ahve picks and players too, and I will deal both as well. Based on my teams performance this week...or lack thereof by the owner/manager should lose both games and still ahve a top 3 pick as well. Let the bidding wars begin, LOL.

Fair warning! This is an anti-trash talk post, boys. There was hope back in Week 5, when I was in second place, but the fantasy football gods had other ideas, it seems. I have lost both my #2 and #3 running backs for the year. RB was the only position I was consistently winning, until I lost Leon Washington, at which point it was good some weeks and bad others. Now it's just bad, with Ronnie Brown out for the season (not to mention picking up Owen Daniels only to have him get a season-ending injury that very week). I have officially become the second-most popular team in the league, the foremost popular team being Trout's team ("popular" being here defined as "most-desired-to-meet-every-week"). Tee it up, boys!

| Wow, two weeks in a row with no line up and the number 1 free agent pick not used. Both weeks there were decent players to be had......... | I DIGRESS...
Dave, I hope everything is ok with you and your family! |

Objectively speaking,... if Mark E and Ravenous T can pull off upsets this week of D-Quave, we gots ourselves some race to the finish... We already do in terms of the race for plaques. NINE teams very alive, at least for a plaque, this late in the season, UNHEARD OF!!! AWESOME!!! |
|
| | As for Trout, one more week of no lineup submission and... uh-oh... or at least... As for Joe's biff,... manh-i kam-sa-ham-ni-da... as they say in Korean...
