I started this thread as a sort of, on the one hand, lamentations, self-deprecation, personal bitch-session thread (like the post of Warner's that I quoted over in the initial post) and, on the other, a thread for pronouncements of a general nature about your team (like my post above). In other words, stuff that is not really trash talk. Take the fight  over to the "Trash Talk Thread", please. And, indeed, PLEASE do so!

Yea, that Arizona pick in the second round and play was something else. He had the...  on that one, for sure! Furthermore, the Andre Brown pick was the right, responsible pick and he played him, to boot. Trout flashing some of those old skills he had when he dominated things there for a couple years,... get this,... a quarter CENTURY ago.  That was the Mark Malone League!

Well, that was Trout and the original pre-GBRFL Mark Malone League, which lasted just two years (1989-1990) and was followed by the Bob Griese League, which lasted just two years as well (1991-1992) and mixed in the handful of leftovers from the MML along with some other "rotisserie footballers" from the company through which we were running, the Armchair Sports Group (ASG). A few of us are left: Trout, Gonzo, DB and myself. Trout was even playing a year before me (so next year I will be at the quarter century-mark). 
The GBRFL was founded in 1993. That means we are currently in our 20th season!!!

I was going to post this to the lineup submissions thread but didn't want to post someting self-depricating in the wrong spot. 
DB's lineup...
A bunch of highly ranked players who suck. And I put in a flex lineup even though I only have one game.
