What an odd week...  Whoever was playing me could have pretty much figured out my lineup this week.  I have never had this happen...  I literally only have just a starting lineup this week: 2 QB's (Roethlisberger and Fitzpatrick), 3 RB's (Bush, Ivory and Gerhart), 3 RC's (Crabtree, Colston and Wayne), 1 PK (Gostkowski) and 1 DU (Detroit).  Weird!

6 teams on a bye, and the first week of
byes may have caught some of us by surprise with all the injuries too.

The bad news, Desean Jackson SUCKED last night.    The good news, Joe got Washington's Defense

Sadly, with my byes, I certainly expect to lose 1 if not both of my games.

Every week you cry and then win, who cares. The cream will always rise to the top, always has, always will, long way to go. I hope you do lose both games but we hear the same tune every week.

The odd thing this week, though, is that what I have is a "perfect" lineup.  Down through the years, I have been short at positions before (quarterback, for sure).  But, I have never had this "of my 21-component roster what I have available is exactly a starting lineup" thing.

Also note, as Steve could confirm, I was thinking ahead...  My making him the offer on what turned out to be our "Fitzpatrick-Colston for Moreno-Jackson" trade was prompted by my realizing that on my roster I only had one quarterback available Week 4, which I knew was not too far off on the horizon and needed to be taken care of sooner rather than paying more in a mad scramble later.  It was all about Fitzpatrick...  Who'd a thunk?

Boy, last week, Stevo was destined to be going to up against a Top 3 defense.  I know rankings based on "fantasy points" do not translate over to our system with precision, but he went up against Danny and me last week and, thus, respectively, the #1 D, the Eagles, and the #3 D, the Broncos, with the #2 D, the Lions, on my bench.  That is rough, indeed!

Hard to freaking win when four of your starters can't make it past the middle of the third quarter. So frustrating, and to lose by only a few points AGAIN!

I was referring to Jordan Mathews for Robert turbin, unless I misread it. I don't understand why everyone is chasing after mark sanchez, he is a bum, he sucked in NY, I'm not liking it for McLain but I guess we will see.

I picked up Jordan Matthews last week with my 2nd round f/a pick.  It is not like he is a hot commidity.   He is a player I would never start or protect with my current receiving corp.  I was probably going to drop him.

Turbin is a hand-cuff to Marshawn Lynch who I own.   Some believe Christine Michel is the heir apparent, but I don't.  Turbin looks better.   Add to the fact all the rumors about Lynch not being in Seattle next year.....this trade actually makes perfect sense for me.

In regards to Sanchez, I have no idea what to think about him.  I guess we will see -  I believe in Chip Kelly's offense more than the QB.  With that said,  what I do know is that Foles is NOT playing and I need a 3rd QB.  I was not going to chase Sanchez when it was only 4 weeks Foles was going to be out, but now that it is 6-8 weeks, I had to get him in order to protect my 2.5 game lead.

Since Mark did not get his line up in, I am really rooting for Tony Romo to play, as Aaron Rodgers is not starting.  If Romo does not play, Rodgers would be his QB along with Brian Hoyer.

Hoyer    200 yards, zero tds.

Rodgers SIX tds in first half -  pretty sure I would of lost the qb matchup.

Lightning strikes...

"Legit chance to root for your coach... specifically..."

That is what Trout has tonight...

According to my tentative calculation of our game, to put Trout away I need three points out of Gano tonight, that is, a field goal or three extra points.  If that does not happen, then, if Chip Kelly and the Eagles beat the Panthers by more than 24 points, Trout wins.  Tall order, but, hey, how many times has there ever been where your coach "actively" comes into play like this???

I am rooting for the Eagles to whip up on the Panthers, as I going against the Panthers defense and starting Mark Sanchez!!  Go EAGLES!!!!!!   (not to mention I am a huge Eagles fan!(

I agree with Feder on this one.  If I were in chasing the 1st place team and the dude playing him left a guy like Rodgers on the bench, I would be really pissed.  Maybe it was a mistake or there is a good reason for no lineup, but the league is hard enough without dealing with that stuff.

Here to take my lumps and also apologize to everyone. I did screw up huge this week - no excuses. I ran out of time and before I knew it, the Thursday game was already past the 1st quarter.

This, on top of a bad week where I blew it with my defense and kicker. I will be on my lineup from here on out. Again, apologies to everyone.

On second thought, that's ok.  Since my best player has been suspended all year without any due process, as champion, I declare this season null and void.
