Title: 2011 In-Season Trade Talks
Post by DB on Sep 20th, 2011, 12:36pm
I have this Steve Smith guy on my bench .  He will probably continue to put up big numbers for the next 2-3 years because of his QB (a QB that I did not pass on in the draft by the way).

Let me know if anyone is interested in a receiver who is putting up 160 yards a game.

I am also looking to trade Jason Campbell if anyone is interested

With my incredibly crappy start to the season (and the loss of Peyton Manning/Garrard), I am looking to shake up my team.   I am open to offers.  Please do not offer a fringe crappy QB  as I do not need another one - as Kerry Collins and Tavarius Jackson fit that mold.

Frank Gore and Peyton Hillis are both available.    The Ravens and/or Steelers are also available.   Wes Welker, Jordy Nelson?   Sound good?    Candidly, none of them are going to come super cheap.

PS...it seems I also have the 2nd f/a pick this week with lots of goodies available  :)

I am looking to trade David Nelson in a deal for RB.   I would also consider trading Jordy Nelson.   Of course, the pot could also be sweetened if need be.

Oh yea.....did I mention that Wes Welker, Frank Gore, and Hillis are also available?

OK, different approach.  My F/A pick is available this week......

Full disclosure:  And based on a trade I made this week and the fact I am not carrying 10 QBs, there is an outside chance I am dropping David Nelson this week (even though I started him last week and I have no doubt I will regret it later)

Okay, now that Warner is no longer really in need of a filler QB, does anybody have anything in the way of an extra QB they would like to run by me?

Well, I've got extra qbs to spare, now that Carson Palmer is a starting quarterback once again.

I am willing to move any of my qbs: Kolb, Sanchez, A. Smith, or Palmer . . .

AJ Feeley appears he is getting the start again this weekend.   He is a great bye week QB if you need one.....just send me an IM or call me.

I guess I should make some effort to get a QB to play this week.  Although the thought of trying to beat Joe with no QBs is enticing.  I could say I beat him with both arms tied behind my back.

In any event, I will offer James Jones for AJ Feeley.

Otherwise, I will just take my lumps this week.  Does it really matter?

James Jones is on a bye- I sadly do not need 3 Packer WRs on a bye.   Benn is also on a bye so he does me no good either.....

Too bad.  Guess Roddy White wouldn't work either then.

Are you suggesting Roddy White for A. J. Feeley???  You know, I got Charlie Whitehurst! ;)

Whitehurst is a stud but I will pass.

If anyone would like James Jones, a receiver on the best offense in football who has 3 TDs in 4 weeks, for a draft pick, email me.

If you need a DEFENSE, the Steelers and/or Ravens are available. They are pretty consistent and have a pretty easy schedule......definitely keeper worthy!!!

Sadly, the Ravens Special Teams two fumbles is what made their Defense look so sad.......I wonder if David Reed has been cut yet.

I am in need of a filler quarterback Week 11.  However, not that I am not going to field my best team every week from here on out, after this week, I am kind of throwing the towel in on this season.  The writing is on the wall.  Point being, I am not looking to sell out the future (next year) for a quarterback for this week.  At best, I am looking for a guy to, in the bigger picture, back up Roethlisberger and Vick; at least, a guy just for this week, and it is for that level of quarterback that I am looking to spend.  Shoot me a message if you got any ideas!

The only writing on the wall that I see is 4 games out with like 12 to play.  You are not throwing in the towel.

I think you should rebuild your team and shut your pie hole before you play others that kick your ass. Quite down the trash talking! We all are getting killed with injuries, I have not had my full roster on the field yet since week one and I seem to be doing okay. What happen to the X factor " the Steg Gm" your looking more like Parsons if you ask me.

I am looking to trade Vincent Jackson.

If you have any interest send me an offer. I would like to try to combine him with a RB for an upgrade at RB or WR
