| Agreed! However, for Vick improvisation equals increased risk of injury, no? Vick presents a real Catch 22 for NFL coaches...

| As an Eagles fan, this really pissed me off. As a redskins hater, it made me even sicker to know they signed him.

Former Cowboy RB Murray was not too keen on his overusage by the Cowboys. Well, now, he will be the 1a. He will be sharing a backfield with fellow newcomer Mathews. From "The REAL Feed": DeMarco flying to Eagles Sporting Life: NFL (12.03.2015 19:41) DeMarco Murray is travelling to Philadelphia Eagles ahead of an expected switch from Dallas Cowboys, according to reports.

Tebow's back! Currently from atop "The REAL Feed": Source: Tebow, Eagles agree to 1-year contract ESPN: NFL (19.04.2015 19:06) Call me crazy, but Bradford does not really fit Kelly's system (any better than Foles, and perhaps even worse); Tebow does, and he does not come with the history of severe injuries Bradford does, which limits Bradford's already limited mobility and is part of the aforementioned reason he is not really a great fit for Kelly's offense. And, Tebow is better than the rest, Sanchez, et al. I think getting Bradford and others this offseason was an attempt to position themselves for Mariotta. As the NFL Draft is right around the corner and team plans are becoming clearer, Kelly's plan, I think, has evidently fallen through. So, now, with OTA's beginning it is time to give Tebow a fair shot, that is, right out the gate with everybody else and not having to play catch-up.

So, I can't say how much I am disappointed in the Eagles this year. It sucks being a fan of a team that was in such good position, just to have it blown up over one man's ego. Who is that man? Fucking Chip Kelly. He has made some dumb moves as the personel guy and I am so over him thinking his system makes the difference. And his blind love for Oregon and Pac 10 players is absurd. Cutting Desean Jackson? Really? I think most Eagles fans gave a pass on this one because maybe, just maybe he was a bad teammate. In hindsight, that may not have been true. The problem is the Eagles have no one who can stretch the field and it left them with a whole bunch of low #2/#3 receivers. Chip Kelly thought his system would compensate - WRONG!!! The interview Desean Jackson gave after the game on Saturday was awesome. He did not know why the Eagles fans did not like him because he loved Philly and it was not his choice to leave. Well said. Trading Nick Foles AND a 2nd round draft pick for Mr Immobile himself, Sam Bradford? When this trade went down, most people thought the EAGLES would get the second round pick. Wrong. Sam Bradford is NOT the right fit for this offense. Bradford has decent numbers, but much of it comes in junk time when the game is out of reach. Not only does he make a shit load of money (and the reason McCoy was traded) but Bradford wasn't even signed for more than a year. (thank goodness!) While Foles did not tear it up in St Louis, he had good numbers with the Eagles and he was CHEAP. The cap space could of been used for the O-line and Linebackers. The worst move, cutting the top Guard in the league from 2011-2014 at the beginning of the season. Evan Mathis was cut - not traded - because he made too much money.(even though he fit under the cap) When he was cut and the Eagles got nothing in return, that was officially when I knew the Eagles were officially fucked and I knew Chip Kelly would run this franchise into the ground. There line is a debacle...... The complete incompetence of Chip Kelly as a personnel man could not have been more evident than what happened on Saturday as I watched the two #3/#4running backs on the Eagles and Redskins. Chip Kelly in his anal love for Oregon players, had Kenjon Barner on the field in key situations. Barner had 1 reception for -7 yards, 1 kick off return for -3 yards, and most importantly, some really important drops when he had a chance on offense. Meanwhile, the Redskins with a good GM picked up Pierre Thomas (who would of been great with the Eagles offense). He tore up the Eagles for 7 receptions and 70 yards. The football team from Washington exploited the Eagles line backers with Reed and Pierre Thomas. It was a joke. But this is yet another example of how Chip Kelly can barely make it as an NFL coach and is intolerably HORRIBLE as a personnel man. The Eagles need a solid GM again - and I would strongly prefer if Chip Kelly would go away. Some rumors indicate Tennessee would like Chip Kelly as their coach. If that is the case, I think the Eagles should give a low round draft pick to Tennessee to take his contract and make him go away.

Would the Eagles really have done any worse last season with Tebow at the helm? In fact, could you not imagine that they would have done better and even perhaps contended for the NFC East title if he were??? |
| Hmmm.....hard to answer that question. I would have to say yes, they could of done worse. I would give Tebow more credibility IF all 32 NFL teams had not passed on him (and continue to pass on him). With the likes of Christian Ponder, Tavarius Jackson, Weedon, etc all getting chances, I think that says how little faith NFL coaches have in Tebow.
