RB Jones signed to,... eh-hem,... "back up" Charles... according to "The REAL Feed": Former Jets RB Jones strikes two-year deal with Chiefs NFL.com (09.03.2010 19:38) The Kansas City Chiefs have signed free-agent running back Thomas Jones, who led the New York Jets to the AFC Championship Game last season and was the NFL's third-leading rusher.

Support for Cassel shaky (as it, frankly speaking, should be)... But, there is one believer... on "The REAL Feed": Lilja backs Cassel, but will the Chiefs, too? NFL.com (08.04.2012 06:08) Even though Matt Cassel's three years in Kansas City have been just so-so, he's got a staunch supporter in starting guard Ryan Lilja. But the question still remains if the Chiefs organization will follow. The regime has changed in KC. Regardless of what Lilja thinks, Fantasy footballers far and wide need to note that Cassel is very likely on borrowed time!

Look at these last four headlines Rotoworld.com is rolling out on Jamaal Charles... | And, the conclusion... from "The REAL Feed": Jamaal Charles misses practice, 'day to day' for Chiefs NFL.com (13.08.2013 13:59) Jamaal Charles sat out Tuesday's practice after straining his foot Monday. It's touch-and-go for the star running back, but with Andy Reid at the helm, Charles' absence wouldn't be the end of the world.

Charles is, indeed, done... according to "The REAL Feed": Chiefs' Jamaal Charles has torn ACL USA TODAY: NFL (12.10.2015 18:14) Chiefs will now have to go on without their offensive centerpiece. I do not wish this on him, but, given his age, this could be a career-ender...

STILL from "The REAL Feed" somehow: Chiefs' Kelce sidelined with concussion The Sports Network: NFL (06.01.2018 20:36) The Latest on the NFL playoffs on wild-card weekend (all times local):6:25 p.m. ET I am going to be VERY UN-PC here right now... Social responsibility at the expense of personal responsibility ruins everything! As concussions go, Kelce's today seemed fairly minor, but the loss of Kelce was a major factor in costing the Chiefs the game. If given the CHOICE, Kelce, after being informed of the severity of the concussion and if it in fact was mild to moderate, may very well have chosen to return to the game. | I DIGRESS...
Libbos and lefties, driven by radical egalitarianism, deep-down hate choice because freedom of choice ultimately implies inequality of outcomes or, at least, the perception thereof! |

| | When is the NFL going to remember that football is a violent, CONTACT sport, much more similar in kind to boxing or MMA than golf? Indeed, why are NFL players, who make substantially more on average than boxers and mixed martial artists, treated with such kid gloves? If professional boxing and MMA were put under the same scrutiny as the NFL regarding injuries and concussions in particular, they would not survive for such scrutiny serves to undermine the very nature of those sports. As football is similar in kind to boxing and MMA, the NFL had better proceed with eyes wide open to the objective reality and logic presented here lest it may cause its own destruction. NFL, it is time to turn the page on this, get real and get your lawyers to craft contracts such that these well-off, if not downright wealthy players know exactly what they are signing up for!
